Salads and Bowls - Edit

Lots of vegan choices. Had the Buddha Bowl. Soy-free and delicious! The turmeric vinaigrette was excellent!

Delicious Salads, multiple options - Edit

The staff were great helping me pick a vegan option off the menu, my first visit. Second time, I customised my choice and that was super easy too. The salads are delicious.

I got the chickpea salad which was $8.95. It came with all all sorts of ingredients and it was vegetarian, not vegan but you can definitely get a vegan salad here too. Very big portion and definitely worth a stop if you're in this neighborhood. You can choose one of the salads with a set number of ingredients or you can customize it and pick your own.

Pros: Really fresh, Tasty

Great custom salad place! - Edit

While traveling we were in desperate need of a salad after eating out so much and this was the perfect place. They have some pretty exciting vegan toppings that we have yet to see at other custom salad places like the kimchi and jackfruit carnitas but they also had classic vegan protein options like marinated tofu and falafel along with a wide variety of vegan dressings. Great portion and great price too!

Fresh and satisfying - Edit

Eating is one of the perks while traveling, but as a vegan it can also be difficult to find good options three meals a day. Verde is centrally located in historic Charleston and provides a fresh, convenient, and healthy option. The menu consists of salads, wraps and soups. I had the Buddha Bowl, the Jack all Trades wrap, and their vegan chili. All were very good. So good that as we were leaving town we ordered these items a second time to take on the road for our drive back to the Atlanta area.

Charleston has some great vegan restaurants and are worth the trek, but if you’re looking for a good option I’m the middle of the historic district, Verde is a great option.

Pros: Vegan options on the menu, Easy and quick , Delivery (fast!)

Why are there not more make-your-own salad places in the world? Verde is great on portion sizes and gives you literally all the options. Very filling and tasty.
