Gute Auswahl - Edit
Große Auswahl an Anti Pasti.

Pros: netter Service, leckeres Essen
Cons: kleine Portionen, wenig glutenfreies

best vegan/plantbased food in bremen! - Edit
whatever your taste is - i am sure that vengo will offer you something you love. they have the BEST vegan sweet treats in town, may it be cake or dessert variations - they won´t dissapoint you.
the menu switches bi-weekly and everything in this place is vegan/plantbased (except the parmesan cheese on the table, which is of course optional or the regular cow milk you can have with your coffee - but the "normal" milk in this place is soymilk of course! :)
anyways, the antipasti is awesome and you can create your own plate, it could become a small version or a big one. or a very big one, when you visit this place as a group. the menu always offers two soups, one curry, one "other" dish and a pasta option.
i recommend this place to every bremen-visitor or everyone living in bremen. the restaurant is just great and i visit it regularly - and never saw or heard of a disappointed face!
Pros: the choice of food is big, it tastes awesome, the stuff is always friendly

Sweet Vegan Cafe...with many options - Edit
Featuring a salad bar with maybe over 20 options i.e. chickpea salad with cucumbers and red onions, carrot strips with dillweed, button mushrooms in a cold curry sauce, couscous with turmeric, pasta salads, etc. among many. You can get a plate piled high with 4-5 or even 8-10 items from the salad bar, from what I observed. The hot menu featured two soups and three main dishes. For dessert there were maybe 5 different options from a chocolate vegan cheesecake to cakepops and more. I really enjoyed the venue, though I did find the asian vegetables and rice to be far too salty for my taste and the chocolate cheesecake to be lacking in flavor. Other than that, everything was very good.
Pros: vegan food, well priced, sweet owner

Great lunch place - Edit
We went to Vengo for a late lunch on a Saturday. The place offers two soups of the day, a huge salad and antipasti bar and several main dishes to choose from. We first shared a large antipasti plate with different versions of hummus which was very tasty. I had a pumpkin curry that was excellent. My friends ordered one of the soups, a tomoato soup which had a nice spicy twist other than any tomato soup I have tasted before. I can really recommend this place for a light lunch. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxed.
Pros: fresh ingredients, creative cuisine, friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Our Favourite in Bremen - Edit
Visited on 28/06/14. We went to Vengo for our evening meal on a Saturday. We were met by a very friendly waiter who had very good English and an excellent sense of humour. I had potato and broccoli casserole with a cream sauce and salad, it was really tasty. My girlfriend had spaghetti bolognese and loved it - she's Italian so a good judge of Italian inspired foods. She said it was quite unlike any spaghetti bolognese she'd had before with an interesting spice mix that really worked. There was a huge salad bar behind the counter but we wouldn't have been able to fit any in. They had a large range of drinks, my girlfriend had a fritz lemonade, I had a beer. I had a coffee afterwards which, as a earlier reviewer has mentioned, was fantastic. The restaurant was open later than advertised on Happy Cow, we left at 21:35 and some other folk had just arrived and ordered. I fully recommend Vengo, top top quality!

Vegan sour creme! - Edit
The menu looked a little bit boring to us although almost everything is vegan. We were very suprised we could order a baked potato with sour creme. It was really great to eat such a creme as a vegan. The cake was a little bit dry, not bad but not very good either.
The coffee is one of the best we ever had!
Pros: Very good coffee, vegan sour creme
Cons: not a very exciting menu
