Quality local products made by vegans! - Edit
Velo City Bags is a local company, with a small yet charming storefront in downtown Salt Lake. I had the pleasure of stopping by today and talked to the owner, Nathan Larsen, for a while about the store and his products. All products made and sold here are VEGAN. Everything is made in-house by Nathan (and they sometimes have great Beanies made by Debbie Larsen). As you walk in, you can see the work space in the back where the bags and products are made. When you pick up one of their bags, it is obvious that they are high quality. Velo City Bags has products for sale in the store, online, and they will custom make items as well.
The owners of this store are vegan. They help organize and support local vegan events in Salt Lake, and are very active in the community.
My son has a beanie from Velo City Bags that he absolutely loves! The day my current bag for work wears out, I'll be buying a custom-made bag here. Their prices are higher than the cheap crap you'll find at a big-box department store, but it is reasonable for the quality of product you receive. I'd wager that a bag from Velo will far outlast any cheaper bag you will find anywhere else.
Go check out the store if you are in town.
Pros: High quality 100% vegan products, Owners are vegan, Custom made bags available
Cons: Parking can be tricky at storefront
