Velicious

I went to Velicious last week with my friend, and usually I am always a little nervous going to restaurants in France because we are both exchange students and neither of us are fluent in French. From the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed with warm smiles and throughout our entire stay we couldn't have felt more welcomed. They helped us through with the language barrier and never once made us feel like we were annoying them by not being able to speak fluently. The food was absolutely amazing. I have tried a lot of tasty vegan food before, although I must admit this one tops them all. From the drinks, to the meals, to the dessert, nothing could have been better. Highly recommend coming here, especially if you have family members or friends who aren't vegan, or who say they love meat and cheese too much to ever stop. I was amazed with how real and delicious their vegan meats and cheeses were... I had to keep asking myself, "is this really vegan!?" They also offer different cheeses, tofu's, ice creams... Etc for sale. Though I'd recommend coming with only the amount of money you're willing to spend, because if you bring your whole wallet you might just spend it all!

I went there for lunch with my partner. It was very busy and we couldn't get a table because we had not made a reservation. However we were able to order some take away and the food was fresh and delicious! We also tried a dessert which was to die for. The service was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the place. Just make sure you make a booking beforehand :)

Every vegan in Strasbourg MUST visit Velicious!! Excellent!!!

Everybody in town talks about them! Seriously, I spent two days in Strasbourg and each person I had a conversation about vegetarianism advised me to go there... which I had already done, since it was the very first place I wanted to visit!
If you visit Strasbourg, make sure you go there, either for a meal or just a piece of cake (or both).

So good food! So nice staff, who can serve you in english. Very tasty, so we visited them on both days we where in Strasbourg. The cakes are amazing. We asked for her favourite cake and it was delicious! We had a great peacefull time at this nice place.

This is a great restaurant. The menu is on the wall, everything is fresh, tasty and homemade. The food is particularly well presented, like the burgers on a wooden board. The desserts are realy really good (oh, the forêt noire!!!). The staff is brilliant.
It's close to the Orangerie so if you're around you know where to eat...

This week end I tried Velicious for the first time with my boyfriend, who is a meat-eater, and it was sooooo good. My boyfriend loves meat a lot, but he loved the vegan double cheese burger. I took a mexican burger and it was honestly the best burger i've ever had of my life !
It was a little bit expensive but it was so good that it worth it !
I recommend it a lot ! :D

Modern looking place that seems to be quite popular with all sorts of people, which is quite surprising as Strasbourg is not really know as a great place for vegan food. But maybe it's the 'health' thing?

Anyway, it's a bit of an upscale fast food place that serves soups, burgers and salad, and seems to be known for its desserts. Had a Mexican burger which was nice but under seasoned and came on a piece of wood instead of a plate... Yawn.

Service was super fast and friendly. We also bought a 'log' to take home as dessert for our Christmas dinner. It was pretty good but really expensive.

Prices for food seem reasonable for a place that's marketed as a restaurant, drinks are quite expensive though. Overall a bit of a mixed experience.

I really enjoyed the Mexican burger and Black Forest cake. I will be coming back

This cozy vegan café won't disappoint you!
The quality of the food is so good, organic and almost everything homemade (bread, vegan mayo, burgers, desserts...).
And a must try, their star dessert.. the vegan Black Forest, check the picture! :)
