Cocina deliciosa y muy cuidada. Se nota la mano de los chefs experimentados. Pueden parecer a priori platos sencillos pero cuando los pruebas te das cuenta de que podrían ser alta cocina. Las alcachofas y la miniburguer con queso feta, mis preferidos.

Went with a large group and ordered several vegan tapas. Some were excellent, and some that you expected to be excellent (like samosas) were not. I might go back to try a proper entree, but I'm in no rush to do it.

Amazing Tapas Experience - Edit
With only a few days in Barcelona, I made it a point to enjoy some plant-based tapas before I returned back to the States. Velada was there to deliver a wonderful dining experience for me.
Read moreAs a solo traveler, it was easy for me to get carried away and order too much (which I may have slightly done). I indulged in their patatas bravas, artichoke hearts, bomba, and their paella (which I probably didn't need).
The first three items were all delicious. Loved being able to enjoy patatas bravas with a vegan friendly sauce and I especially liked the crispiness of the bomba. The paella was not bad but definitely could've saved room for a dessert or another dish.
If you're looking for a vegan tapas experience with friendly service and an extensive menu, this is your spot.

Best restaurant in barcelona during our 4 day trip. Tried almost all tapas 😁 and everything was really super tasty. The dessert was not quite to our taste. For example rhe tiramisu was a bit monotonous. And i wouldn’t order the sangria carva with ginger beer. For us personally it was to sour. Everything else was fantastic. Over all experience, price for value and staff was 5 star . Will definitely visit again

Read moreEvery dish we tried was delicious, it was clear that they put a lot of thought into the menu and added a little bit of extra care into every dish because everything was cooked to perfection; the chickpeas were soft, the peppers had the right amount of bite.
I really couldn't pick a favourite dish because we really enjoyed every single one! Nothing tasted processed, even the sheese tasted like they might make it in house although I'm not sure about that.
The service was excellent and the location is very central with a good selection of drinks. I tried the cava sangria and it was really tasty.

You will not be disappointed if you eat here! The service was top notch, our waiter was really friendly and the food came out at a good pace, unfortunately it was all gone before we knew it! We originally only ordered 1 plate of the croquetas but had to order another as we were hooked! Also, probably the best tasting 'salmon' replacement ive ever had - made from carrots! Will definitely be returning next time I'm in Barcelona.

Could have so easily walked past this, but glad we didn't! Welcoming staff, fully vegan menu of tapas, burgers, bowls etc, good air con and and a welcome piece of tranquility in a bustling area! Also, well priced for great food in a touristy area. Should also mention delicious lemon meringue pie!

Velada is in a great location close to many other shops. The food was high quality and you can tell a lot of though goes into their dishes. I had the salmon tartare and it was very flavour. My favourite part of the meal was dessert, the macarons were absolutely amazing! So soft and fresh tasting! I would recommend the hazelnut ice cream as well
