Cocina deliciosa y muy cuidada. Se nota la mano de los chefs experimentados. Pueden parecer a priori platos sencillos pero cuando los pruebas te das cuenta de que podrían ser alta cocina. Las alcachofas y la miniburguer con queso feta, mis preferidos.

We turned up without a booking and they managed to squeeze us in (recommend you book because if we had arrived a little later we would have missed out). The food was insane. We had the tortilla de patata which was fantastic and the jam on it was next level. We also ordered the mushroom croquetas which were so rich in flavour. Then my husband and I shared the truffle burger ... and wow it was so so delicious. We ended the night with crème brulé which was lovely too. Cannot fault a thing. All of that and 3 drinks was all €43 which is very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning during our next trip to Barcelona

One vegan and one omnivore walked into a bar . . . Hot, tired, and hoping they could find something to please them both. Vedana came through with style! The red sangria was delicious, but the glasses were small, so we followed with a bottle of rosé wine. We did a mixture of tapas and they all were outstanding. We had mushroom croquettes, Barcelona “bombas”, artichoke flowers (which my non vegan sister is still talking about), and “no salmon” avocado tapas. Everything was outstanding and seriously exceeded my expectations. The service was exquisite: friendly, generous, and welcoming! The atmosphere was also comfy and classy  I would go back in a heartbeat!  The atmosphere was also comfy and classy.

Read moreRich, delicious food in a beautiful old room that has been tastefully modernised to compliment the old features. The tapas dishes are soo flavourful - I tried 7 of them and only the jackfruit taco left something to be desired. Kind service. Almost every detail is taken care of. Only one complaint: the sound system is too low quality so it doesn’t create a surround sound and you can always hear other tables chatting - harms the vibe a bit.
But really, what an amazing place.

Most of the tapas dishes seemed like it came out of a container, little to no spices, uninspiring composition and small portions. The cheese was incredibly bad. The simple dishes were pretty good and convincing, and so were some of the dips. Mocktails too expensive.

This place didn't exist when I lived in Barcelona, and if it did, I would've been a regular 100%. Their tapas are just amazing. Full of flavour, great value, and the presentation is beautiful. I've read in other reviews that their mains are not as stunning, so if you go for the tapas, you won't miss. The options are many and varied. I had the bravas, the artichoke flowers, and the bomba. What can I say, I enjoyed every bite and the experience was very satisfying overall. I was alone in there (it was 5pm), the place is this incredibly beautiful historic building, the music was just my personal taste, the staff was lovely... It was dreamy. I will come again for sure, alone and with company.

I cannot put into words how great this restaurant is. I loooooved it!!!!! We went there for lunch after a street art bike tour and it was amazing. We had a bunch of tapas, a burger and a bikini and every dish amazed me. I will definetely come back. This place filled my heart with love and my belly with good food and my mouth with aaaaall the taste and texture. I felt like I was in food heaven.

We were looking forward to this meal experience but it was a letdown. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, in a historic space and the decor is lovely and well curated. We had a cheese plate to start and a couple of burgers. The cheese plate came out within a couple of minutes of ordering. The cheese was similar to store bought, one cashew based and one coconut. 4 small pieces of each. It came with crackers, a few grapes, walnuts and a relish. Underwhelming taste (apart from the crackers which were delicious) and presentation.

I wanted to see for myself why Velada is considered one of the best vegan spots in Barcelona — and honestly, it lives up to the hype. The tapas were excellent: I tried the artichokes, stuffed peppers, and hummus. I also had a colourful dish called “Rainbow,” which felt like a little celebration of Pride right on the plate. To finish, I enjoyed the cake of the day — a delicious pistachio piece. A beautifully crafted vegan experience, both in flavour and spirit.
