A vegan friendly outlet in Genting - what a relief - Edit
After so exploring all the different things Genting has to offer, we were late for lunch. What a relief to find a veg a friendly place high up in Genting.
Read moreWe asked for a few things but all of them for sold out for the day. They had Nyonya Sliced Vegan Chik’n Rice.
The dish comes Chik’n pieces in a tomato type gravy with spices and pieces of okra, rice, and a small veggie broth/stock. We took some Sambal to go with it. The grave a bit tangy and with mild spices. The rice good and broth was okay as well. The combination of all together was good.
We were so glad that there was an all vegetarian/vegan stall at Genting. #Veganuary
Pros: All Vegan/Vegetarian
Cons: They seem to run out of things after lunch

Veg Talk, Genting Highlands - Edit
11 items on the over counter menu. Only 5 were available. Mock meat starch and sauce is basically what they offer. The lady serving was nice.

Food ain’t great - Edit
Tbh I don’t expect food to be great in genting. The wantanmee was tasteless. The only okay thing I tried was the chicken rice. Nasi lemak wasn’t great either. It was also insanely expensive which was expected but I thought tho food would at least be good.

Glad to know there’s a vegetarian stall available - Edit
Had the Hakka pan mee and the noodles were quite overcooked/soggy. Overall flavours are still acceptable and not too salty.

Such a delight! - Edit
I didn’t have much expectations, but the food turned out to be delicious. I had dumpling soup and even though the bowl was huge, I felt like I’d like to have more just because it was mouthwatering! And warm soup feels so good in “cool climat”. I totally recommend!
