Solid old school fast food

We didn't know much about this place but every time we've been to Halle this place was closed. This time we had luck and it was opened. The menu looked very promising: burger, wraps, fries etc. So we ordered classic seitan burgers with fries. The order took some time to arrive as there's lots of takeaway customers. The place has a nice punk d.i.y. background, so you're supporting the right people with your money.

When the burgers arrived I thought they brought the wrong food; it looked like Vöner kebab. This is because they use no classic burger buns, but the ones for kebab. Also the taste was more like a kebab than a burger since the seitan patty was rather a slice than a patty. The taste was OK, but nothing to write home about. The fries were also OK. For burger and fries there could have been more sauce, although they have a good selection to choose from.

All in all solid old school fast food at reasonable prices. Would go there again to try their wraps as these seem to be their main business.

It's fast and food

Nice little restaurant offering a variety of vegan fast food options. I had the hot dog and fries, though the hot dog was a little bit petite. The fries especially were nice. The price was ok, it's not as cheap as "normal" fast food, but I think that's understandable. I would recommend you to not sit inside if you don't want to smell too much like fastfood after eating.

Hidden gem

Great selection of all-vegan fast food like wraps, pitas and even Currywurst. Really fair prices and good Taste 👍
Only the seating area could need a little more flair.

Cheap and fast

I like that we have all-vegan fast food option in Halle. Overall its okay place but options are hit and miss. Still i will continue to support them..

Sehr gute Junk Food mit guten Geschmak-Kombinationen, Preise sind wirklich klein.
Der einzige Nachteil ist der Geruch (Bratengeruch).

It was alright but I don’t get the hype

I appreciate the variety of vegan foods and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but I really didn’t like it that much.

Pros: Many vegan options , The Classic Hot Dog was good

Cons: The sweet potato fries were super mushy , We didn’t like the Mexican style hotdog w/ beans, it smelled like deep fryer fat in there

Cheap and anarchist, however not too tasty

I really looked forward to meet this place, and the experience was indeed amazin – anarchist stickers, cosy interieur, friendly atmosphere; the food itself was quite good, however according the price nothing special, simply vegan junk food.

Pros: Price, Ideas, Atmosphere

Cons: Not good for dates, Fries were from the freezer

Great Street Food

If you want to grab some street food or to have a snack inside, Vegs is the right address in Halle. Deliciuous and simple wraps, fries, salads and many other dishes waiting for you in this bistro.

True vegan

True vegan, animal rights store. Fast food, done fresh & well prepared (wraps, fries...). Some sweets (candy bars), lots of lemonades. Your clothing will smell of food after you walk out (I do not care but some people might). You sometimes can buy "Tierbefreiung" there, too (German journal for animal liberation). Few stops with tram 12 from central train station "Halle Hbf". Seriously not fancy and not for hipsters. Two seats outside, five seats inside.

Amazing tasty wraps

The food is soooo good. Seriously, never found better wraps anywhere. Try out the seitan-nuri wrap 🤤they also have Döner and currysausage. It's Alternative hipster place kind of ;) it doesnt have that much space.

delicious vegan fast food moderately priced

A small place located in the center of Halle. They offer various wraps, salads, burger and sandwiches as well as chips, hotdogs and currywurst.A weekly changing dish is advertised on tumblr and facebook.The food is delicious and freshly made right in front of you in an open kitchen.I would recommend the tempeh-cheese fladenbrot, it is awesome!you can also get lemonades, chocolate bars, coffee, tobacco and vegan unicorn condoms.
