The Philly cheesesteak is amazing!!!! I’ve always really liked their orange chicken as well. The sweat potato fries are great too. I don’t recommend ordering delivery, just go and pick it up. :-)

Visiting the area - Edit
This is a vegetarian/vegan location. It is very reasonably priced but also the portions aren't very large, they're not small but not large. The food was tasty but it felt like something was lacking.
Read moreThe athnosphere wasnt the best, the restaurant needed renovations. Over all it was good and I would recommend it but it is not my favorite.

Everything I Needed - Edit
While only a vegetarian restaurant, there was only 5 items on their menu that weren’t vegan. I got the cheese steak and it was so delicious I could have eaten 4 of them. Also- the prices were great!
Read moreThe menu was super expansive and everything was very well labeled. You could order what was already pre put together and listed on the menu or build your own burger, sandwich, bowl, etc.

Never again - Edit
Not entirely vegan, cooked made the wrong order a few times in a row. After the 2nd time we gave up and left I'm not going eat cow cheese. Funny that veg is in there name but they act like vegan cheese is the worst thing ever and that cow cheese is okay.

Cons: Cow cheese on everything.

Hi Jay,
Read moreI feel sorry that you had this experience. We have clearly mentioned on our menu what comes with default American cheese or regular cheese. Vegan cheese is option which need to be specified at the time of the order. If you look at our status on HappyCow, its mentioned as vegetarian and not vegan. Hope this helps and we see you again. We are here with mission to serve you and many others.

Great variety, easy customization - Edit
Whenever I want to take someone to a place that’s unique or different than the usual grub, I take them to Vegorama. This Chipotle-style eatery has different, easily customizable options and is very unlikely to disappoint. Most offerings are vegan, with products containing dairy clearly marked.

Indian-American street food. Owners are very knowledgeable about vegan options and all the burgers are great! They are small and cheap, so you can try multiple.

Awesome Vegan Food! - Edit
I love this place! We had a big group and of course we sampled each of the dishes and came to the conclusion that is is all good! We had Golden Potato Burger and the Peanut Crusted Cajun black bean burger, fried tofu with vegan ranch, (out of this world!), vegan meatballs, brown rice, black beans, Samosa-(yummy!), Philly Steak Bowl with the fixings, all had bowls except the hamburgers! May I add the burgers are 2 for $5.99! You need to end off with the chocolate no bake cookies! This place is divine! Nice folks! We gave all thumbs up!

Good food - Edit
Tried out a few different dishes..my faves were the samosas and potato burger and my orange “chicken” bowl was really good as well. My 16yr old meat-loving son really enjoyed the tamarind bbq jackfruit burger. The owners were very nice and patient answering questions and made sure to see how we liked everything. I tried the Cason drinks and those were really good. It takes a while to get your food, but we weren’t in a hurry and everything was fresh and made-to-order, so no complaints. I would tweak a few things, like scrubbing down and making it feel fresher and cleaner, but I watched them make our food and was very comfortable eating what they prepared. My daughter goes to college in Ypsi and I will make sure to have her pick up carryout for me the next time she is heading home!

Please move closer to my house in Livonia - Edit
I've only had 2 of the burgers and the chick pea and cheese omelette, but I have to believe that the rest of the food is great also. I'll go back and find out soon. The burger ideas are different from what I've seen elsewhere - and at least as good as anyone else's and better than most. From now on, whenever I feel like traveling to Ann Arbor to eat, I can shave a few miles off my trip and eat at this place in Ypsilanti. With apologies to the people of Ypsilanti, it's the best reason to go to Ypsilanti and maybe even Ann Arbor.

Unique vegan/vegetarian diner - Edit
A new diner in Ypsilanti making Indian inspired American food. This is a great, affordable place walking distance from EMU. Everyone working there was so friendly and well-spirited.
Read moreI ordered the golden crunchy potato burger and the bird’s nest burger. These were small, slider size, but I've never eaten anything like them and they were both very flavorful! My boyfriend got the tamarind bbq jackfruit sub. This was also a little small, but very good. We also got the masala fries (okay, could use more seasoning), jalapeno poppers, and a strawberry mint lemonade (yum!). We will be returning soon!
Pros: creative menu, affordable, friendly staff
Cons: not a lot of seating, wait time due to small staff

Just Starting - Great Potential - Edit
Surprising to find a vegetarian restaurant that's just a simple place in Ypsi. It's pretty new (like, less than a year as of this review), so I'm reviewing it based on where it is today and what it can be.
Read moreDefinitely billed as a burger/wrap/bowl place with a 60s rock-and-roll diner vibe. Friendly staff and a cozy place. Sort of an Indo-American fusion place with a few twists. Clear markings of what's vegan and what's not.
I got a jackfruit BBQ burger, peanut black bean burger, masala fries, jalapeno poppers, and strawberry mint lemonade.
Appetizers were pretty good. The fries were great, though a little lacking on the masala part. Nice and crunchy, but missing a sauce (ketchup? chutney? Could work either way, I think). The jalapeno poppers were great one time and OK the next (I think it was the quality of the breading). They're breaded and full of cream cheese, which is right up my alley. The lemonade was great for me: a good mix of sour and sweet.
The burgers were just OK. Creative, good selection of burgers in general and a good deal (2 for $5.49), but spicing is just a little off for my tastes. I'm gonna chalk that up to them being new and me being picky. Maybe they need to be bolder with their spicing to make it stand out as an Indian/American fusion place.
In that same vein, the burgers took some time to get to us. The printed menu was also a little off compared to the board in the restaurant, so, again, I think they're in the midst of growing pains.
I'm definitely going to be back to try the rest of the menu. In the meantime, I hope they figure out their processes and keep it going because it holds tremendous promise as a vegetarian place.
Pros: Diner vibe, Great selection of burgers, Unique menu for Ypsilanti
Cons: Limited seating, Still figuring itself out
