All-vegan Italian delicacies are served. The menu includes burgers, panzerotti and lasagna, in addition to muffins and tiramisu for dessert. Everything is made-in-house and freshly prepared every day. The owner (Samanta)'s focus is on quality and regionality at affordable prices. Every first and third Saturday, there's Brunch from 9am till 1pm. Open Thu-Sat 17:00-21:30. Closed Sun-Tue.

An experience! - Edit
This is one of those restaurants that provide an experience in a bundle rather than just good food. I felt extravagant, so ordered a polenta antipasti (with delicious Gorgonzola), a cauliflower schnitzel main course, and a lemon cake with chocolate icing. Totaling €37.30, which is a bit expensive, but totally worth it. Every mouthful was full of interesting flavors which one does not encounter often. Everything was well-done and well-presented and my waiter was likeable, nice, and easy to talk to; he even asked me to a cup of coffee or tea on the house. I can’t wait to visit Salzburg and this wonderful restaurant again in the future. (P.S.: the dinner also included a little basket of assorted pieces of bread and unlimited water free of charge)

Delicious food, great range - Edit
Service was very friendly, even if it wasn’t always the fastest. Great monthly specials and a wonderful range of food! Some of it was a little surprising (deep pan pizza?) but still had a lovely time.

My girlfriend ordered a plate of gnocchi with zucchini sauce which was not tasty at all and we tried to pimp it up with some chili oil and balsamico. 2/5

I think it is really nice to have a full vegan italian restaurant! the place is cute and has a nice ambiente, the service was good. but, the food was too expensive for what it was. we had the starter to share, the zucchini gniocci (did not tase like a lot, would not recommend), the seitan slices with mushrooms and almonds (tasted good but was not that special for 21€) and the tiramisu (this one I liked the most but it still was rather expensive, 9€). in total I was a bit disappointed, but I like the concept and would hope for lower prices to visit again.

So einen guten veganen Italiener haben wir noch nie gesehen. Alles hat so unglaublich gut geschmeckt. Man merkt, dass alles selbst und mit Liebe gemacht wurde. Auch das Restaurant selbst schaut total nett aus und das Personal ist super lieb ❤️ Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Salzburg sind.

The Vegitalian in Salzburg is one of those places that simply makes you happy. The food is sooo good. We had mixed antipasti and especially loved the melanzane on polenta slices. Simply amazing! We then had some of the staff's personal recommendations for pizza and it was very very tasty! First time having a completely vegan and handmade mozarrela alternative so this was awesome. We topped it off with some amazing tiramisu which was some of the best we ever had. It's all about the dough😉definitely coming back!

We were so happy to find this lovely restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Rigatoni alla Carbonara and it tasted delicious. The Tiramisu was rich and creamy. Highly recommend and hope to visit again if I return to Salzburg!

Hard to beat vegan Italian! - Edit
Great menu with what makes good Italian food good: ingredients are simple in a way but then they all have to excellent and well balanced, and here they are, vegan cheese and meats (I really love a pea based tuna) included. (I was a little disappointed to see the pizza coming out not a classic thin crust, but it was so tasty it quickly won me over:). Staff is super friendly and the location is great, a little out of the most tourist crowded areas too. It will most definitely be a regular stop when I’m Salzburg!

We ordered the mushroom gnocchi, Greek pizza, and tiramisu. The gnocchi was nice and soft and flavored with truffle oil and vegan cream, the tiramisu had real biscuit pieces and tasty cream, but the pizza was a bit disappointing. It comes out as thick focaccia bread with some pizza toppings that cost nearly €15. It was far too bready for me without enough toppings to break up the taste of the bread. I didn't realize that this was the style served here as I didn't properly check their website or photos of what was served (my bad).

Das Preis / Leistungsniveau passt nicht. Ich hatte einen großen Salat mit Pizza. Der Salat war in einer großen Schüssel, der Inhalt war allerdings wenig. Fertig geschnittener Blattsalat mit zwei Esslöffel Kichererbsen und Dosenmais...keine frischen Kräuter, Tomate oder Paprika. Die Pizza war eine Viertel Pizza...mit enorm dickem Teig. Ich bin seit acht Jahren vegan und kann das Vegetalian leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

The "pizza" was the size of two slices of a normal pizza but over 15 euros. 🤯 The bowl was not a bowl but rather a plate and the veggies were not fresh but frozen.
