Friendly but not professional

The experience is like you’ve been to your student friend’s apartment who shares the place with 3 more people and he’s cooking for you cos he’s a nice person. The problem is that you pay in the end. The food is average, Nothing special, mostly processed stuff.

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Difficult to find, Way too many cats on top of the tables, Atmosphere indoors is suffocating

very good and different from anything else!

this restaurant is not really like others you've seen! it's in the back garden of a guy's apartment (or you can sit in the indoor part). So it's not officially announced outside (see photos of this listing). When you get there, you think "where the hell am I" but then you go inside and in the garden outside! So beautiful! We had the daily special which was some authentic turkish food, we really loved it! And the owner/chef is very friendly.

Very special atmosphere: super friendly people, cutest cats ever & great food!!

GLUTEN FREE options available!

This place will offer you a different view of Istanbul and in summertime you can enjoy your food outside on a lovely decorated terasse.

Pros: only vegan, fresh & delish, very cheap

You should keep in mind the number of the street. Is in the home of a Vegan Chef

I use as always my HappyCow app to find the nearest Vegan we’re eve I go around the globe, this time I want try here, walking go and back, since I decided to look the number of street, there is no signs, only a black V in the ring. I show in photo. For cat lovers. Yes here in Istanbul, people love pets, sometimes they come inside and jump on your table. I had a falafel wrap ir Durum was just lovely. The lemon mint nice also. The young man that open door was very nice, friendly hold me hand and say welcome. This experience is different as normal restaurants was really cute and surprising for me, I recommend you to do. Look at photos! Enjoy!

Must try dining experience!

I was thrilled to have tried this unique, must try dining experience in Istanbul all because of Happy Cow!❤️ The idea of enjoying a meal in someone’s home in a garden so appealed to me! The atmosphere is cozy, intimate and loved the chilled out music playing in the background. The menu is handwritten and hand decorated. The host/chef explained what the dishes were as all in Turkish. So much choice and all prepared made to order in this small yet very efficient kitchen! I chose the felafel plate which was delicious and best part enjoyed dessert- still warm tahini cake with chocolate sauce! Delicious food, authentic vegan food experience prepared by someone who truly enjoys what they do! I would go there again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a memorable food experience on my last night in Istanbul! Unforgettable!😍

Great Vegan Restaurant

They have their own seitan and a very nice garden where I love to spend time with friends and enjoy my meal.

Awesome place

Delicious food, cosy environment and the best host ever. You'll feel at home while having really good food and possibly having warm conversations with other guests and Yasin, the host. I advice that you check it out.

Pros: Food is really good, The garden is pretty, Very good value
