Interesting menu, but it lacks flavour - Edit
This is the food they served me, so I thought to myself: "hey maybe if it doesn't look good at least it tasted good, right?". It didn't. I was disappointed with the lack of flavours, as were the friends I brought with me. The mimosa was okay. The service was fine, I asked for a double Espresso and for some reason they gave me a triple, which is fine i guess. Coffee was sour. I'm sad to see the place close, which is why I went over to show some support, but I was honestly disappointed. I wish them the best of luck in a post Veginity world.

Superb food - Edit
I went with a mixture of vegans and non-vegans. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I went for the butternut squash and potato gnocchi which was excellent.

A bit overrated - Edit
Would have liked to see more wholesome dishes, the quality/price ratio is a bit disproportionate. Having said that, the dishes are creative and savoury.

So GOOD - Edit
I had the all day Irish breakfast and it was absolutely beautiful. The sausage was a bit too hot for my liking but loved the rest. The baked goods looked mouthwatering too but sadly I was way too full to eat more!

Excellent! - Edit
Probably most definitely the best vegan place in Dublin. Rotating menu and amazing pastry options. The only tofu scramble I’ve ever liked (perhaps even loved).

Not what I expected - Edit
Wanted to visit Veginity for a while. Heard many good reviews so we gave it a try today. We ordered the chickpea salad and vegan weekender. The vegan weekender was supposed to include “smoked carrot dog” which you would think would be a carrot sausage (like a carrot burger made with other ingredients as well). No. It was just carrots. The menu says that the salad is served over a sourdough toast. To me, that was a simple white loaf bread. Prices were ok, food nothing out of the ordinary. The place itself is not very attractive either. We’ll give it a try one more time for dinner though, see if there’s a difference.

I had to come here, solely based on the name. - Edit
I’m glad I did. It’s a small place, only open until 4 PM, but they have a good menu, with something for any mood you are in (breakfast, brunch, lunch, etc). I got the Buddha Bowl and my wife got the Benedict. They were both very good. Very tasty.

Another wonderful vegan breakfast in Dublin. I had the Benny with a side of hashbrowns. The english muffin was probably the best muffin I have had in my life. The “eggs” were delicious and hollandaise was tops.

Fun restaurant, exceptionally poor service - Edit
I had read about the vegan restaurant scene in Dublin before leaving for Ireland from California on a business trip and decided this would be the one fully vegan restaurant that I would lobby to have my not-totally-vegan-friendly work colleagues come for dinner with me. The moment we sat down to our pre-reserved table the server told us that we had to be quick because there was another party who had the table reserved after us. We are an international group in our forties who come from different countries and travel widely and for all of us, this is the only time in our lives we have ever made reservations at a restaurant only to be rushed from the very start to clear out for the next party. We were not offered dessert at all because of the time crunch, which was disappointing to us. They offered us free espressos to make up for rushing us out which my two colleagues found undrinkably sour. I don't drink coffee and they did not offer any alternative. They did not offer any other discount or compensation. They were actually defensive at the start, saying that we had been late for our 6:15 reservation, when in fact we had a 6:30 reservation.
Read moreThe food was very enjoyable but not exceptional or particularly unique and so, because of the service issue, I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are looking for a quick bite or can come at a slow hour. If you are looking for a leisurely multi course experience with friends on the weekend, look elsewhere.

Fancy menu - Edit
This place has a quite refined menu I would say. They even have a wine pairing menu, which tells you in detail which wine would be best suited to each dish. It sounds expensive and it was expensive for sure, but worth it. I had a nice dinner experience with friendly staff. I really recommend trying out the green tea rose kombucha, it was marvellous. The dessert options are really fancy, and I would have loved to try them out, but the seitan steak I had was more than enough.

Indeed there are 2 specific employees who are constantly rude, such a shame - the pastries are really fantastic, and this business can lose many customers fast if these rudeness continues.
