I debated leaving 5 stars or 4 stars, because it's right in the middle. I had the vegan 5 terre pizza, which was really really good, but not divine. My friends had the lasagna, which they said was the best they ever had.

I debated leaving 5 stars or 4 stars, because it's right in the middle. I had the vegan 5 terre pizza, which was really really good, but not divine. My friends had the lasagna, which they said was the best they ever had.

I just ate lunch there and now see why they get top ratings. Everything is very fresh, very Italian and beautifully presented. I wish I had had my camera so I could show you pictures! First, a warm Italian bread drizzled with a good olive oil and the plate decorated with swirls of pesto and balsamic vinegar. Then my yummy penne primavera. Then, my waiter said the words that made my heart skip a beat: "We have a delicious chocolate vegan mousse for you." I was in heaven!

The decor is attractive bistro style. The restaurant is easy to get to, less than a block off the main Juarez bus line...or, if you're on the malecon or visiting the Guadalupe Church, you can easily walk there. The prices seem a slight bit higher but in reality are no higher than the non-vegetarian Italian restaurants in town.

If you are vegan or vegetarian, Veggitalia is a must go. If you're not but love good Italian food, you will love it here too.

Amé el concepto, la atención y la calidez de el lugar! Es simplemente delicioso, todo preparado al momento con la confianza de que se hacen adaptaciones si eres vegano o vegetariano. Cada detalle desde el menú que cambia a diario en base a obtener ingredientes frescos y así llevarte una sorpresa en cada visita ante la variedad de opciones, el ambiente es familiar y a su vez acogedor si deseas ir en pareja. El chef trabaja cerca y puedes ver la dedicación en cada plato. Vale la pena pedir su especialidad de el día con la que quedamos encantados. Feliz de tener una opción italiana y veg en nuestra ciudad. Regresamos muy pronto! 💗💗

We were pleasantly surprised to stumble across this new Italian vegan/vegetarian restaurant right near El Malecon during our recent visit to Puerto Vallarta. We ordered a veggie pizza after the lovely hostess explained there was no set menu as the chef is happy to accommodate any requests. The wood fired pizza was so delicious that we went back again the next night for more! If only they delivered to Australia ☺ We also very much enjoyed our pasta and desserts of vegan chocolate mousse and Italian sweet bread. It was clear that the chef has a real passion for food. We'd definitely visit again if we're in Puerto Vallarta in future!
