Just what I wanted! - Edit
Sometimes you want to try local dishes, sometimes you want something light and healthy, and sometimes you just want a slab of tofu on a bun with fries. I wanted the last one and Veggies totally delivered. The vegan burger was a slab of tempura tofu with spinach and mushroom on a bun with a side of fries. It was absolutely delicious! I just wish I had room for dessert. Plus, it's near the Grand Park of Tirana, which is well worth checking out.

Nice vegan food in the heart of Tirana - Edit
Very well located right next to several sights such as Tirana Pyramid. Most dishes are or can be made vegan. Great variety to chose from, from appetizers and soups to salads, bowls and Sushi or burgers and Pasta. They even have some vegan desserts. The sushi salad and spring Rolls were tasty, fresh and too big a portion for one person. Not the cheapest place, but perfectly reasonable. Only staff were a little slow, I would have liked to ask for an ashtray but instead got one from another table because nobody showed up when I finished my meal.

Nice vegetarian/ vegan spot in Tirana - Edit
Veggies is a great spot for vegan and vegetarian food. The menu has so much to choose for. I ordered the Thai curry. This was really delicious and a lil bit spicy. The detox salad was very fresh. The chocolate smoothie with chia was also very tasty.

Veggies is a good-sized restaurant with plenty of indoor seating, as well as some tables and chairs outside, although these are located close to a busy road. It’s conveniently situated near Tirana Park.
Read moreThe menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered a burger, which was basically tempura tofu. The tofu was soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavour, even basic seasoning.
While I appreciated the large menu and the modern, comfortable interior, I found the food rather underwhelming.

Cute restaurant with tables inside and outside. Most vegetarian options from the menu can be made vegan by omitting cheese or eggs. I had the Shiva bowl and it was pretty good! Loved the mushroom with almond pesto, really tasty. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake, which was not exactly a cake. It was more of a pie with chocolate sauce and banana on top. Good, but a bit too healthy for my taste.

We absolutely loved this place. Vast range of options for vegans. We had vegan hamburger which was made of tofu tempura and mushrooms and spinach, served with sweet potatoes.

Was very excited to go there but the food was not good. I had the tofu noodles that tasted like nothing and were overcooked and had barely any vegetables in them. My partner had the burger that tasted like old grill. I can recommend the cabbage spring rolls though! The smoothies unfortunately were warm. Service was slow and not very attentive.

Read moreA cute place near the lake with lots of seating. The menu is completely vegetarian, labeled and most dishes are vegan or can be made vegan.
Really healthy food, not heavy or oily at all, but still filling and really tasty. Spinach soup is rich and refreshing, Buddha main dish is sublime!
In my experience, service was fine and the waiting time was average (about 20 minutes), although the place was quite empty.

So many different vegan options in various categories! I had the vegan burger and it was one of the better burgers I've had in life. I also had a tasty tropical smoothie. We were there around 7.30pm, we were the only guests but it took almost an hour to get the food.

We ate rice noodles they were a bit tasteless, but the mushroom/avocado sushi & chocolate cake was really good!! So probably it depends what you take. We were the only guests but the vegan selection was quite good.

Suprisingly extensive veggie menu, many vegan options, all reasonably priced. Very friendly and helpful staff. The fresh juices are a masterclass and the food we tasted (sushi salad, vegan burger with soy patty and grilled mushrooms) was pretty good. Definitely check this place out, it's located just outside Tirana's wonderful city park.
