You MUST eat here!! - Edit
Veggie Village is one of the best meals I have had in Nashville to date. We happened upon this restaurant when we were in the area and will be coming back again and again! To begin, the hospitality was fabulous. Gail, the co-owner, shared with us her journey to veganism and lots of details about the food. The pizza was spectacular. Absolutely ridiculous how good it was. Top pizza I’ve eaten...vegan or otherwise. The burger and chicken wings blew us away. In fact, the only thing we didn’t try on the vegan menu was the smoked cabbage. Every. Single. Item blew us away. Make sure to get the tea - it’s like an extra spicy chai. I cannot recommend this place enough. No processed or pre-packaged food. Everything is farm to table and made from scratch. This place has vegan, vegetarian and meat options. We had vegan jerk, chilie cauliflower, cornbread and rice. It was all vegan and delicious! Wonderful owners and super cool space.

We were visitors to Nashville, looking for delicious vegan and found it.
Read moreThe menu changes all the time, but we were very happy with what we found. The standouts were the cauliflower with a light Asian orange breading and smoky, spicy cabbage. The meals were very satisfying and the setting is elegant and romantic.
My only small complaint was that when I asked for suggestions for sides, our host slipped in an unnecessary cornbread at a $3.50 upcharge. Her other recommendations were perfect.

It’s all vegan now! - Edit
I had the most amazing vegan Caribbean food at Veggie Village. The owner and chef, Gail and Chef “Ridiculous” Troy welcomed me into their home. Literally! This restaurant is in a converted home. Gail themed each room. There are beautiful furnishings and family photos and heirlooms. I had a veggie plate with two sides. So good. Organic. Salt-free. #veggievillagenashville

Started out with the most friendly staff, and a completely different atmosphere! The vegan jerk had the perfect texture, and was the best jerk I have ever tasted. We had every side option and all were so fresh and cooked to perfection! The fried cauliflower was like eating candy! Gale and Chef "Ridiculous" have something amazing going here! Great food for the money. Alice says this is the most fun she has had in Nashville!

Would give 5 stars if I could! Amazing experience, the food was amazing and the staff was incredible. So friendly and funny. I had the vegan beef tips and it was the best vegan beef I’ve ever had. They also don’t use soy products so the food absorbs the flavour even more. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I came in for lunch and got fried cauliflower tossed in sweet chili sauce with saffron coconut rice (wow). Came in the day after and got their vegan jerk chkn which was unbelievably tender and flavorful. Must stop by if you're passing through Germantown.

This is by far some of the most delicious, sweet and savory vegan food I have ever had! Freshly made tea with cinnamon was amazing, the over all vibe was relaxed and personal. Great artistic house with different rooms to sit in! I will be back for almost anything this chef makes me! Thanks for the good feeling food!
