This place is awesome! - Edit
This is a great and affordable all vegan place for lunch (I think the only all vegan restaurant in Vallarta) in a beautiful new outdoor location. In the evening they close (I think at 5) and start serving a different veg menu (a little pricier) at the really great space upstairs, The Jazz Foundation. That’s a great place to see live music and also has a view of the ocean for perfect sunset watching.
Read moreThe owner, Sandra, is super nice and she might come say hi and chat with you, which was really sweet.
Ate there 3 times and each thing I had was delicious.
Def check this place out while you’re in PV.

Excellent, They Just MOVED to Jazz Foundation location - Edit
Tacos, tortas, agua frescos! Everything you want from Mexican food but can’t get at 90% of the restaurants in town. Tacos were $1 a piece, and I could have kept handing over 18 pesos a time until my stomach burst. We were some of the last diners at the old location before the move to the Jazz Foundation. Would return if I were back in Puerto Vallarta (in fact, I’d have signed up for a cooking class by the chef if she were offering one because her take on vegan Mexican food is different than what we get in the States).

Fresh, flavorful, fun! all vegan! - Edit
Great place!! The salad was amazing! Lots of fresh veggies, along with possibly the best homemade seitan I’ve ever had and other hearty items. Also super yummy variety of tacos including a curried jackfruit and a mixed veggie one. I’m not sure but it seems the menu changes. the restaurant is closed on weekends so the chef/owner can do her private catering for clients. Very casual and comfortable, great for kids.

Amazing Vegan Tacos! - Edit
Stopped in here with my family for a quick bite. All of their tacos were amazing, as was the juice! Even my dad, who is definitely no veg fan, was impressed!

healthy and tasty - Edit
one of puerto vallarta few vegan spots. food is tasty and healthy. the owner was very knowledgeable. she sprouts the beans and grows her own sprouts. she understands nutrition. if you visit puerto vallarta make a trip to veggie table. it's worth the visit. i recommend the salad bowl and tacos. i prefer gluten free options and so, i avoid the seitan choices. also, prices are reasonable.

left our resort for this spot! - Edit
Traveled to Puerto Vallarta on a friends trip and stayed at an all inclusive. Husband and I were dying for better options; we were SO GLAD we left the resort to check this place out. Worth it! Had some tacos, burrito, and a sandwich. Great location too, after dinner we just strolled down to the boardwalk for some drinks. Staff extremely friendly - will go back next time we travel here.

Amazing!!! My family of 5 had lunch there recently and everything was delicious! The owner was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking to her about vegan products in Mexico. I had the Choripan with homemade seitan chorizo with chimchurri, it was delicious! The burritos and quesadilla's my family had were also very yummy! The restaurant is comfortable and inviting! Don't miss this gem in Puerto Vallarta, we were SO happy to find it!! Thank you once again Happy Cow for making traveling vegans very happy :)

Vegan In Downtown Vallarta - Edit
I love this place, my favorite things are; the tacos de cochinita pibil, pastor, torta de milanesa and the jackfruit sandwich, I have to say I really dislike natural jackfruit, but the way Sandra cooks it, it is just delicious!

Why only 3 stars? That means it's only average, yet you say you love the food you have tried.

Delicious! We love it! - Edit
This place is easy to find, right off a main square (Plaza Principal de las Arms) and the malecón. As soon as we sat down, someone approached us and explained everything on the chalkboard menu. Everything here is truly vegan and the day we went she was offering about 6 kinds of fake meats, made with seitan, tvp, or jackfruit. Tofu had sold out, as we went an hour before closing. This informative woman, who spoke perfect English, disappeared into the kitchen and someone else brought our food out. Pretty sure the first person was the chef herself.
Read moreMy partner and I had a burrito with seitan pastor, mushrooms, tapioca cheese and veggies; tacos with chorizo; and a torta with pierna ("meat" marinated with 5 chiles"). All of it was delicious, filling, mulit-textured. We also had homemade horchata. It was not as sweet as horchata usually comes, but it was served with a bottle of agava syrup.
***We noticed that the fridges and shelves in the restaurant were empty and we were a little disappointed because we had come in hoping to also buy some supplies. The very nice host at the register explained that they definitely do still carry supplies (vegan yogurt, cheeses, drinks, etc) but only in the high season. They don't have enough turn over in the low season to keep it fresh. They do still sell made-to-order seitan meats to go, which might be interesting for those visiting PV for awhile.
Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Friendly and informative staff

excellent! - Edit
Surprised to find a vegan restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Their seitan is amazing and they claim it's house made. Either way, delicious. I had the chori-pan and husband had the burrito with a mix of protein (seitan, jackfruit, tofu). Would go there again.

Superb vegan food - Edit
I ate here about ten times during my time in PV. Every meal was excellent. They have a wide variety of mock meats, including some that mimic Mexican meat (chorizo). Everything home made and fresh to order. They also make a fruity drink (like agua fresca) everyday, and it's very creative and good.

Fresh, delicious vegan food! - Edit
The Rice Bowl is my favorite thing here and I always get it. It's a huge amount of flavored rice with greens, corn, purple cabbage, tomatoes, quinoa, bits of fresh pineapple. Plus, it's loaded with seitan made fresh in house, chunky cooked mushrooms and tofu. It comes with a choice of two dressings, I get the less spicy curry dressing. There is so much food in my to-go container that I could easily make two or three meals out of it. At 85 pesos, about $4 US at today's exchange rate, that's a bargain.
Read moreVeggie Table is easy to find, less than a five-minute walk from the Guadalupe Church in the downtown (El Centro) area. Be prepared to wait a few minutes for your order, as they are putting it together fresh for you.
Pros: fresh, delicious food!, easy to find
Cons: I wish they were open a little later than 6 p.m.

So Happy - Edit
Love Mexican food. Recently became vegan & came to Mexico for the first time. Trying to find vegan or veggie food that actually tasted mexican felt impossible, all i could find was flavourless veggie mush stuffed into a taco...i was losing all hope. I thought, if only they put Mexican spices & sauces on the food...then I found this place! Amazing! My prayers were answered & it is the first meal in 6 days i really enjoyed.

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
Went here on my last day in PV and man do I wish I had been sooner! Very well located and close to everything. I had the black bean burger and 3 of the al pastor tacos, I could have had 3 more! Very well priced as well for such amazing food. I debated taking a star off because of their hours, they're only open until 6:00pm and we ate dinner around 7:00pm everyday so I had to come for lunch. Highly recommend! The owner was also very lovely and discussed vegan cheeses with me.

They have the best tacos I've ever eaten! Their burgers and torta are both really good as well! They make all of their "meat" substitutes in house! Even their lemonade was delicious!
