Healthy and tasty vegan buffet - Edit
I've been to several vegan buffets in Ubud, but I thought this seemed to offer some less oily choices. Loved the tempeh, rice with sweet potato, and also the green tomato salsa! Crispy fitters were also nice. Little fruit plate provided for dessert! 50k. Free wifi and air conditioned. Excellent service.

Renovierungsbedürftiges Restaurant mit mittelmäßigem Essen - Edit
Kleines Restaurant, klimatisiert.

This place saved our holiday - Edit
Excited to be in a hub of veggie restaurants in Ubud, we were hit by poor quality food found at Earth Market and Sopa. Luckily we found this restaurant and sticked to it until our last day. Flavourful cooked dishes and yummy avocado salad. Simply love it.

Balinese food - Edit
I came here with my family and the food was okay, balinese flavours and it's nice that everything is vegan. Sad to say but wouldn't come here again because the service was slow and portions were quite small.
Pros: Cute place, Not so expensive
Cons: Slow service, Small portions

Veggie Table was the first place we ate at in Ubud and I am so glad because it was AMAZING!! The restaurant was empty the whole time we were sitting there which is unfortunate because the quality of the meal was very high. I ordered the yellow rice dish which came with assorted side dishes including soup, some tofu and tempeh and an eggplant dish. I also ordered the mixed fruit juice.
If I had been in Ubud longer I definitely would have wanted to visit Veggie Table again, I definitely recommend visiting!
Pros: Amazing food, Airconditioned, No noise!!

Great food for good price - Edit
This restaurant was reasonably prices compared to other vegetarian or veg-friendly places in Ubud. And the food was great. We tried a few times
- nasi campur (many different foods around portion of rice),
- gado-gado (boiled veggies and peanut sauce [in ordinary restaurants they add egg, so remember to ask without], but Veggietable had some additional things too),
- fried vegetable with tofu
- avocado salad
- ginger juice
and everything was great.
Pros: great food, cheaper than most other places

Tasty and cheap - Edit
A nice little restaurant with a menu that is hard to choose from - there are so many options! Staff are great. There is the option to dine inside with aircon or outside overlooking the foot traffic. Well priced and good sized meals.
Pros: Options galore.

Amazing food! Come and support this great restaurant! - Edit
My partner and I have dined at Veggie Table twice while in Ubud. Hands down one of our favourites! Everything we have ordered was delicious!
The only disappointing thing was that the restaurant wasn't full! More people need to come here!!! No negatives! All positives :)! Much love to veggie table!

Very tasty and healthy lunch - Edit
We went to this little restaurant for lunch and really enjoyed it. The mushroom dish and the salad I had were delicious, great combination of spices, now I'm thinking how to replicate such a dish at home. The food was rich in vegetables and made us feel good. This is one of the best places we've gone to in Ubud.
Pros: healthy and tasty food, good value for money, nice coffee

Small restaurant serving traditional fare - Edit
We actually ate here twice for dinner because the food was great, affordable, and the location is central. If you feel like local food with a veg*n twist, this is just the place. Plus, they have AC!
Pros: tasty food, air-conditioned, location

Fantastic and enjoyable - Edit
Veggie table was our first taste of Balinese food. We were amazed. Everything was delicious, copious, and inexpensive. Spices were excellent. They also have beer! Even with all the vegetarian variety in Ubud, we'll go back!
Pros: aromatic and flavorful, nice staff, good location

Disappointing - Edit
How this place came to be so highly rated here is beyond me. I can only assume the other reviewers did not try the Balinese curry, which takes the dubious honor of having been the worst curry we have ever eaten in any country, ever. And given that we are huge curry fans, that is really saying something.
My partner whined the whole way through the meal and then in true Asian style completely stranded me when I answered the waitress truthfully upon being asked how it was. The waitress's reaction was to avoid me for the rest of the night - clearly it was me who was in the wrong, although my intentions were actually pure - if it was my restaurant I would want to know these things. But honestly, anyone who can serve that curry with a straight face should not be in the food business.
The non-curry dishes were OK but nothing amazing (they make heavy use of condiments so the sauces drown out the flavours of the ingredients) and certainly not superior to what is available elsewhere. They use white dugar. The drink list limited.
The ambience is nothing to write home about either - it lacks any real sense of style although they clearly are trying. In a town where vegans are spoiled for choice I have no idea why someone would choose to eat here.
Pros: Vegan, A range of menu options to choose from
Cons: Terrible, terrible curry, Not health oriented, Service and ambience are below par

Excellent food - Edit
Very good food. Nice staff. We had a Balinese nori campur and a dish with tempeh, veggies and fries. Every single component was excellent, I would come back. Recommended.

Excellent Quality - Edit
I tried the Nasi Goreng Tahu (tofu) which came with a soup, spinach chips (battered and deep fried baby spinach), deep fried tofu, aceh (pickled veg), sambal. So many excellent flavours! And all for 40,000rp. Most of the dishes on the menu were this price and it stays true to Indonesian flavours. I also had a simple brushetta starter, my husband had a dish with fried eggplant, tempeh and Nasi Putih (white rice) with sambal and salad and rated it highly.
Pros: Great Quality, Value for Money

Best vego in Ubud - Edit
There are many great vegetarian places in Ubud but this would have to be the best! Our favourite dish was their Nasi Goreng but really enjoyed all of the dishes that we tried. Highly recommend it!

Great food! - Edit
The moment I arrived in Ubud I was surprised to find a vegetarian/vegan place close to my hotel. Is a small restaurant with 5 to 6 tables only. The food is great and affordable
Pros: Great food, Cozy environment, Affordable
Cons: Slow service

Cheap and Tasty - Edit
Good, simple food that's nicely presented. Most mains cost 35k so as cheap as you get but unlike other cheap places I've been to in Bali, it's well located and a nice atmosphere. Waitress was a bit disinterested but still did an ok job. Perhaps it's my accent but I was a bit bemused by the waitress not understanding 'vegan' given they have it on their sign but almost all the mains seem to be vegan anyway.

Delicious Traditional Balinese!! - Edit

Somewhere in the middle - Edit
We visited Veggie Table once while staying in Ubud and tried fried tempeh, leafy vegetable soup and fresh juices. The food was tasty but too salty for me (especially the soup). It would be better if they could bring salt on a side instead of adding it to food.
The prices are moderate compared to other veg restaurants in Ubud. Although the menu is not 100% vegan, the staff understand what veganism means.
BTW, the restaurant opens only from 3PM.
Pros: Indonesian food, location
Cons: late opening time, salty food, not 100% vegan
