It’s unfortunate that there aren’t many vegan restaurants in Kobe and while we’re certainly thankful that this was an option, I can’t say it was the best. The vegan beef patties we got and the nuggets were all microwaved so the texture was really soft rather than crispy. The food tasted like a quick service mid-quality ‘to go’ convenience store meal. When we showed up, we did not know or expect it to be a carryout only restaurant. There’s no seating here with the exception of one tiny bar, but we were still told it was carry out only. The upside is that the owners were extremely friendly and very kind. You can order your food from a kiosk with a screen , so it’s very convenient and easy.

One out of only two vegan only restaurants in Kobe. Good burgers for a reasonable price. It's takeaway only, but you can go up any of the departament stores in the vicinity and eat on the garden terasses. Very very good for a quick bite.

I enjoyed the chili burger and tempted to come back to try the rest! The mayo on it really helps. They have a handy bench map to help you find place to eat. I recommend the 8F Daimaru rooftop.

The burgers were good but I missed the crispy texture. The nuggets were okay but not crispy at all. The soy pudding was horrible. We could not finish it and needed to throw our away.

I had a mushroom typing burger on rice, it was enveloped in a nori sheet and it was delicious, very unique. I also had their homemade nuggets, also great. It's take away only do I went to the park by the port nearby, really great experience overall.

Read moreVery affordable vegan burgers, including a delicious vegan egg + cheese burger that was on the temp menu. I have no idea why that isn't on the permanent menu actually; its 10/10.
Veggie Junkies is takeout only, but it's in a pretty convenient location. The only thing I didn't like is that there isn't a lot of seating in the area that isn't tied to specific establishments. Service is fast, and especially fast for the quality of the food.
As of April 2024 burgers were 800yen after tax. Extra patties for only 200 yen. A steal compared to other places I've eaten at.
The couple who runs the place is super friendly! They are a relatively new restaurant, and could really use your support! They really deserve it as well!

I ate everything before i could take a picture (which never happens to me)! That teriyaki mushroom burger was amazing! The nuggets were yummy twist on soy nuggets. The staff was very friendly and talked to me through Google Translate. I enjoyed the ease of ordering, too, through the POS system.

It's takeaway orders only, but definitely worth checking out. Ordering is done through a ticketing machine that has English and accepts credit cards, so it's really easy. There's quite a selection of sides, burgers, toppings, and sweets. I had the veggie nuggets and a spicy burger with vegan cheese topping. Both were delicious; the burger was especially good, the bun was tasty, and the vegan mayo was delicious. The staff were very friendly, too.
