Very tasty Indian dishes with something for everyone

I went here for a gathering with family friends - we reserved ahead of time but you probably didn’t need to. There was a lot of choice on the menu to suit everyone’s tastes with gluten free and vegan options marked (it’s all vegetarian but some of the items have meat names but use quorn or similar products I believe). There were an array of Indian dishes and sides on offer alongside pizzas and burgers also on the menu.

The portion sizes were quite big - I ordered a starter with a side of masala chips to share and this was more than enough.
The aloo tikka chaat was delicious and the other items that others had ordered went down well - not greasy like you get in other places, and very tasty!

The staff were also very friendly and helpful - especially when it came to humouring the 2 year old who was with us - they brought out plain rice and tarka daal for him especially (we did ask for it first) and this was a sizeable portion.

Takeaway containers were offered for leftovers - there were quite a few leftovers because the portion sizes are quite big and most people had a starter before their main.

When I go back, I would stick to ordering a starter only or a main only unless I was really really hungry. Have already recommended it for a potential meet up with other friends when they are in the area.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Ordered from this place twice and both times they have let me down. They have done this by missing food from my orders. There was no manners or acknowledgment of good customer service. The women actually huffed down the phone when we called to ask what was going on saying "well what do you want me to do about it". Through the kindness of someone else I at least got to have some bread with a j20 that was brought in the order with was warm and bitty. I went to work the next day and honestly struggled to get out of bed due to the lack of fuel my body had because of poor meal not being enough to pass barrier of my medical condition. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THEY HOLD THEIR CISTUMERS AT NO VAULE!

Cons: Small portions, Poor customer service, Comuster is not vauled

Lovely variety of meatless dishes

Very quiet and the food is lovely and fresh.
I would describe it as a hidden gem because it looks like a pub from outside, it still resembles one inside too but the aroma of food and not beer says otherwise.
A lot of custom is delivery orders and this was obvious by the amount of customers coming too and from.
It's very reasonably priced for a sit down meal. The owner/manager is keen to explain dishes to you and to make sure you are happy.
Proper home made chips too, not fries.

Pros: Quiet , Freshly cooked , Filling

Cons: Looks like a pub!
