Lots of vegan options - Edit
Vegetarian Asian restaurant with lots of vegan options. They have recently marked their menu to indicate vegan options.

Awesome local vegan chinese - Edit
Extensive vegan/vego menu, most vegan or can be made vegan. Flavours are delicious, serving sizes are huge (they give container for takeaway, or bring your own).

Very attentive service & great food - Edit
We had a lovely dining experience here and the food & atmosphere was great. We did double check with the manager while ordering to make sure the food we ordered was vegan but since opening they are more clear with identifying the vegan items which are clearly marked with a V now. He was happy to help us with items that are or can be made vegan and to check with the kitchen where necessary. Food came out quickly, was tasty and decent portion sizes. One of the best things was that the prices on the starters are reasonable. Also loved that they kept bringing out cold water bottles as soon as they were empty. Can’t wait to go back! Also, to be clear, this restaurant is not affiliated with Veggie Mum.

3.5 stars: good options but not labelled - Edit
It's nice to have an alternative to Huong Viet which I wont go to anymore, but HappyCow, strangely, wont let me say why.
Read moreWas REALLY excited when I heard that Veggie Inn is owned by the same people that own Vegie mum, which I LOVE.
Sadly, I didn't LOVE my visit, the main problem is NOTHING is labelled vegan, you have to ask about everything individually to make sure. The young waitress we asked didn't leave us with much confidence, as when asked if our choices were vegan, assured us they don't have garlic or onion. I felt much more at ease after checking with the older man (manager vibes).
The salt and pepper tofu, although crunchy, was missing any salt and pepper.
The char kway teoh looked so appetising, but wasn't as flavourful as I would like, and there were lots of char siu pieces in it (my least favourite fake meat).
The dumplings were delicious and served with my favourite vinegar dipping sauce.
The food came out pretty quickly, which was impressive, as it was a full house.
Their decor is really lovely, with beautiful wallpaper.
Pros: Delicious dumplings
Cons: Vegan and vegetarian options not differentiated

In answer to your first point:
Read more1. Read the happy cow rules
2. Probably isn’t wise for happy cow to publish potentially defamatory remarks
3. If you have concerns, report them to whatever authorities are appropriate in Victoria rather than putting them in a review..

Not defamatory though.
Read moreYou’ve written about your experiences at a lot of places and you have said what you wanted about places you didn’t like, I’ve seen a lot of your negative reviews. What you wrote was different.

It's not defamatory if it's true.

Well make a complaint with the relevant authorities then. Read the rules of happy cow.

Yeah I should have made a complaint.

Well decorated with calming atmosphere. Extensive menu and delicious dishes. Had lunch and done some takeaways. On another occasion we had dinner there. Like the noodles dishes, tried the assam veg. fish and Shanghai ribs. Just great. Will be back for more.
