Was great... But took advantage of popularity - Edit
A couple of years ago this was a great place to grab vegan takeway with excellent food. Then they slowly started to up the prices and decrease the portion sizes when more and more people discovered the restaurant. Such a shame. If you can live with this, the food is decent.
Don’t be fooled by simple exterior, the inside is nice and the people at ‘Veggie Hut’ are doing great work. We visited for a birthday; the food was excellent, large portions, service was very friendly, food was cooked fresh (so takes a bit longer than places with all pre-cooked). The atmosphere was fine. Although we could have done without the Bollywood songs on TV, but some people like that! The food can suit everyone because they have traditional vegetarian and fake meat too. I am tempted to go back even just for the fresh Chai
Taste is good but dishes are very small for such a high price. My partner and I were still very hungry after eating a portion each of sauce with rice and bread. The staff was also very awkward with us. We were placed at a small table right near the door in winter even though the whole place was empty.
This restaurant is a fantastic find. The menu is so extensive I had difficulty choosing what to eat and as a vegan this is a rarity.
The food is Indian however it also has some broader asian options. The food was delicious. I went with some friends and we all chose a different dish and so had the opportunity to try a number of the options. The dishes were all beautiful, freshly cooked and the waitresses knowledge extensive.
The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and I would highly recommend it.
The food here is amazing....if you get them on the right day. The service is always friendly, but not always fast.
However they really look after their vegan customers here, so we always go back.
The onion bhajis alone are worth the trip.
Give them a go!!
Loved our dinner here. Had onion bhaji to start and they were so tasty. Had the 'chicken' noodles as main and loved them. Fast and efficient service too.
Veggie hut is a relatively new restaurant that is really fantastic! I've been a few times and the food has always been great. I've also had it delivered and it was on time, fresh and tasty. The butter chicken is absolutely amazing. There's not too many places that you can get vegan garlic naan, but this is one of them! If I want good Indian food I will always come here. The atmosphere is great and the menu is very extensive. The staff are wonderful and very nice.
All I can say about this restaurant is excellent. Service is good, food is yum, location is good too. Able to accomodate both vegetarian and vegan diets. They also have some menu using mock meat, some are just ok. Really love the eggplant curry, potato and pumpkin curry, mock fish curry and mee goreng.

A solid option - Edit
A lot of (infact mostly) vegan options. Everything I have tried here has been good.
Read morePros: Friendly staff eager to please, cheap buffet on weekend nights, neat, clean and simple.
Cons: Sometimes doesn't look open, no deserts @ time of this review, weak drink menu, seemed to have increased prices a bit.
