Asian style vegan restaurant - Edit

It's a nice Asian style all vegan restaurant.

They do have an amazing amount of meat alternatives from beef, pork, fish, chicken... on the menu.

Although I can understand a lot of people need or want these alternatives, it is not too much my thing.

I rather prefer full new vegan dishes than alternatives for...

The menu is huge with an amazing choice.

I took:
- Lettuce wrap
- Cucumber salad
- Seaweed salad
- Seaweed Stem with Basil
- Vegan Cheesecake
- Chocolate Chip Cookie with Vegan Ice Cream

Overall a nice experience and I guess definitely recommended for people who love meat alternative proposals.

Pros: Happy smiley staff, Nice vegan food

Cons: None

classic Chinese - Edit

This place was amazing. A lot like loving hut in Portland, Oregon. The service was all right, but what it lacked, food taste made up for it. Classic Chinese food without trying to make it a healthy kale dish.

I am obsessed with Veggie House. I’m not a vegetarian or Vegan (more or an enthusiast) and I would eat veggie house a few times a week if I could afford it.

Obviously, this is a great place for non-vegetarians. Everyone we’ve taken here loves this place. I’m just hoping for a more upscale restaurant, how about on the strip!

Pros: the food!

Cons: location... not a place you can take people you wa

How do they make that shrimp?! If you are craving all your favorite Chinese foods (think Panda Express) but your vegan, then you’ve found the place! The customer service was great, even on a pretty crowded night and the food was so good!!

Not enjoyable - Edit

I came here with high expectations. They were not met. I do not understand the other reviews, because this was one of the worst vegan chinese restaurant experiences I have ever had. I did not enjoy a single dish. The hot and sour soup was so peppery we sent it back. The spicy beef was mediocre. The roast pork was appalling. The pad. Thai was goopy. It was poor from beginning to end. As you can see from my long review history, I do not give out bad reviews lightly. But this merited it.

Who misses Panda? - Edit

Veggie House was the very first restaurant I decided to check out when I switched to a plant based diet, and I had no idea what to expect. This place was in a part of town I don't normally visit, I had never heard of vegan restaurants, and as for Chinese food, most of my experience was Panda Express.

With that being said, as soon as I got my meal I knew I was in for a treat, and that this place would become my highest recommendation for anyone either visiting town or searching for a vegan friendly place to eat.

This place has the best Asian food I have ever had. All the entrees are served with your choice of brown or white rice, and just a heads up these are some really nice sized meals. You definitely get your money's worth and more. On top of that, unlike other places one would go out to eat at, when you are done you don't feel super stuffed and regretful afterwards for having such a big and filling meal.

Besides the amazing plant based food, the atmosphere in this place is super relaxing and almost transports you out of the city. It has since become my wife's favorite spot for a meal out or a nice date night for us.

This place is locally owned and operated, so to keep it alive and well, I HIGHLY most definitely implore you guys to go check this place out. You will not be disappointed at all.

We return to eat here at least once during every vacation in Vegas. Chef Kenny is amazing. He created and prepares all of the different alternative meats on the menu, from the scallops to the pork to the chicken.

Amazing! - Edit

This place is great in so many ways. The menu is HUGE, with 3 pages of Asian food that's all vegan. We had to wait about 10 minutes to sit down (on a Friday night at prime dinnertime), but our food came so quickly after we ordered. Our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I had fried ice cream for the first time since becoming vegan, and it was incredible. Would recommend to anyone.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Great interior design

The Best Vegan Chinese in Vegas! - Edit

We loved loved LOVED Veggie House! They have an exceptionally bountiful menu and are so passionate about veganism - they even have a sign on the door asking that no meat or seafood be brought into the premises! Love at first glance. We felt right at home inside, and we lucky to be seated right next to the little water feature and garden.

Service was impeccable, and staff were so knowledgable about the menu and items. They even made a few suggestions when we were stuck on what to order. We finally went with the Japanese Ramen bowl and crispy beef, with a starter of Roti + Curry.

Incredible taste for everything, and portions were perfect for what we wanted. Wish we had more time to try more things on the menu, but this will just have to wait for our next visit. If you love Chinese food, don't hesitate to hit Veggie House up. Pure Love.

Pros: Everything was perfect!!!, Amazing People, Fantastic menu

Cons: Nothing at all

Waste of money - Edit

First off the sign on the door said closed. It took a bit to get a menu and I had to ask for water. I had some questions about the items on the menu and the young woman that was taking my order didn't really know. Another woman came over and when I asked her a few questions she yelled the answers back to me. The taste was unlike anything I had had before and it wasn't good. I was never asked if I wanted anything to drink or the yummy ABC cookies that they had in the display case along side the drinks. It was a total waste of $20. I will try Veggie Delight next time and see if I have better service and food.

Pros: None, None, None

Cons: Parking is not easy, Rude, Lack of knowledge about the items on the menu

Best Ever - Edit

I am a vegan who visited this restaurant with 3 meat eaters. I had never been here before (on holiday) so I was worried what my friends would think as they very much enjoy their animal products. Especially since one of our party is not a fan of Asian cuisine either. Throughout the meal all I could hear was "wow" and "this is so good" from every one of them (including myself). The best part (aside from the awesome food), was the one who is not a fan of Asian food informing us that we have to come back before we head home. This was by far the best vegan food I've ever had. Fantastic flavors and textures. All fresh. The staff is incredibly polite and knowledgeable about all the food. And the desserts were absolutely fantastic as well. Can't wait to go back!

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: Not in Canada

died and gone to heaven!! - Edit

That’s saying a lot since I’m an atheist!! LOL!! Absolutely fantastic food, service and ambiance. Cannot get over how spectacular the food and service are, really. We had the mushroom chicken and the sizzling beef. Really cannot tell that the veggie meats are plant based; they are perfectly created and the execution and layers of flavor in the sizzling beef were amazing. Waiting for our dessert now, vegan cheesecake with vegan ice cream on top. I'm pretty sure I died and this is heaven!!

Pros: service is second to none! , food is freaking amazing

Cons: I don’t live near Vegas... if I did, I’d be here s

black magic! - Edit

The first time I ate here, I was still a death eater. I tried the orange chicken and giggled because they were serving real chicken and claiming it was vegan. Then I found out it was actually vegan and was floored! By the time I came again, my eyes had been opened and I was vegan. I tried the kung pao 3 and had to verify with the Kenny, the owner, that it was actually vegan. The shrimp looked, tasted, and felt like real shrimp, as did the beef and chicken! The only thing I can think of is that Kenny is a witch! That's the only way he could make vegan food so convincing!

Pros: the best vegan restaurant in town

Cons: I can't live here
