Wide Range of Options, Rotating Seasonal Choices - Edit
I first had Veggie Grill when I visited California, went on two separate occasions and then unfortunately headed back to the East Coast, where it's not an option. Finally got to have a Veggie Grill fix again last year visiting Seattle, and I still find myself checking out the seasonal options from time to time. Everything I've gotten from here has been excellent from the Buffalo Bomber, to the VG Burger, to the Baja Fish Tacos. I usually stick to water when I go places, but at one time they had a matcha horchata, it was excellent and hopefully they bring it back. If you're looking for some vegan food fairly fast and want a bunch of different options, Veggie Grill is a solid choice.

Good burger, okay fries - Edit
I got the steakhouse burger and my girlfriend got the avocado bacon cobb. You order on a screen or in person, get a table number, then have your food brought over. The atmosphere is very casual which worked well for our lunch. I thought my burger was quite good but the fries were just okay; a bit soft. The cobb salad was great, the tempeh bacon was well spiced and had a good bite. With a slightly high price (I'm not from seattle so I might just have an incorrect baseline) I was not super impressed, however with such a large menu I might have found something I really enjoyed with a few more tries.

Big fan of the loaded fries here, havent been able to find them at many other places. The burgers are also decent. The plates and salads are just okay though.

Delicious!!! - Edit
I got the Buddha bowl with the vegan egg and it was absolutely delicious! I havent had eggs in 15 years but tasted like it was in my memories! Definetly pricey but worth it. Its not the prettiest restaurant but service is quick and I love that everything is vegan!

This is my dream place! - Edit
Everything we ordered was delicious. The place was clean and busy! The menu gave a variety of everything you could ever crave! I wish there is a place like this where I live. We ordered a Buddha bowl, tacos, cauliflower, tofu plate, corn, spring rolls(amazing) and that chocolate cake!

Really liked the freshness of the ingredients. The option to swap the patty was appreciated by my partner who isn't a fan of fake meat.

All vegan, but nothing too exciting - Edit
I found this place on the Happy Cow app when we first got into Seattle to find some food. I was really excited that it was all vegan and that they had a ton of gluten free options on the menu as well. The menu is very well labeled, so that was also very helpful.
Read moreOverall, a lot of choices, but the food wasn't really anything great to speak of, which was a bit disappointing. The flavor profiles were fairly bland and some of the tacos smelled like dish water, which was unappetizing. The spring rolls weren't really wrapped very well, so everything fell out of them. The sauce that came with the spring rolls was pretty good though.
The restaurant itself was very well designed and the seating was comfortable. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, so that was a bonus.
Ultimately, I'm glad that we found it, but it's not a place we would visit again. We ultimately need more actual veggies, flavors and not have things smell like dish water.
Pros: All vegan, Gluten Free options
Cons: Food was bland, Some of it smelled like dish water

Amazing Seattle Vegan Find!! - Edit
Excellent customer service, delicious (whole foods) seasoned, great price, nice clean dining room. This food isn't fast food either- it's fresh made food! The dessert is made in house. First meal on this trip- I'll be back!

Always hits the spot - Edit
Love Veggie Grill! I always make a stop at their 4th Street location whenever I’m in Seattle. The staff is friendly, the food is consistently good, and while they have plenty of healthy choices, I usually treat myself to a classic burger and fries. I also tried their Beyond Steak recently and it was great!

At least it’s an option - Edit
All of the food we tried was overly greasy and not very good. The tater tots were soggy and the quesadilla had way too much cheese. The vegan mac lacked flavor and was very watery. The burger was the best thing we ordered

Undisclosed surcharge - Edit
This place is still yum as hell but I'm docking a couple stars for a service charge that does not show up on any menu, just the pay screen. Violation of Seattle law, among other problems.

THE FORMER REVIEW
The chain that launched the term "premium mediocre" in one of my favorite internet essays (The Premium Mediocre Life of Maya Millennial) is honestly pretty damn OK, especially in Seattle where the curve we are grading on is pretty depressing.
I think it's one of the very few places that's served me kale in the past few years that was treated competently, and I think fondly of their both their caesar dressing and their broccoli-stem pesto innovation.
I prefer their bowls to their burgers, which tend to use some sort of chemically-tasting performative char thing going on, but none of it is bad and some of it is actually...really good?
