Overall it’s a nice option with all your typical vegan comfort food. I found the food and service good.

I feel like I wasted my money. It tasted like I was eating the lunch kids receive for free in elementary school. Compared to other vegan spots in Chicago, where I know satisfaction is guaranteed, my meal was not worth $14.78. I’m not sure if I’ll return; unless a friend wanted to try it for the first time or I’m desperate. It’s too expensive for vegan fast food. There are other dope veggie spots where meals cost the same price but taste 10x better.

Friendly staff, lots of variety on the menu - from deep fried indulgence to healthy salads, from fake meats to green bean tempura. Nice that this 'fast food' chain has real plates & metal flatware for dining in and compostable containers to go. Takes it all up a notch.

Grateful for vegan food availability, but everything was kind of eh. Also no ice in ice machine, no knives in the utensils. We were so excited to try Veggie Grill, but there are many better veg*an options in Chicago.

Typical Fast Food that is vegan. Nothing special. Geared towards new vegans or people who will try vegan food periodically. For longtime vegetarians it's really off putting to see "beef, pork, chicken," etc on the menu. Makes one lose their appetite to be honest. They are fixated on making everything taste or feel like meat. Yuck. So go for fries or a salad not the fake meat that's trying to be like meat. No thank you. Lots of seating but hard and uncomfortable. I'll go back if I'm desperate.

Veggie Grill is always great - Edit
This is the third Chicago Veggie Grill and the newest. Same great menu--it has both mainstays and a rotating seasonal menu--as other locations. And of course, everything is vegan. The app is great for ordering online and collecting rewards. When I went to this new location, I got the beef bulgogi bowl and a side of fries. Delicious. Veggie Grill never disappoints.

Lots of choices, menu is big! I had Far East Bowl and enjoyed it. You can healthier options or spoil yourself with burgers. Would recommend if you're in the area!
