Tasty food in ample portions at good prices - Edit
This humble place has a goodly-sized menu with reasonably priced dishes. Many of the stir-fried dishes are heavy on sugary sauces, but you can ask them to cut back a bit, or order something with less or no sauce (noodles, fried rice, soups). They have lunch specials that come with brown rice and either Singapore noodles or chow mein—a very good deal. All the lunch specials I've tried are pretty heavy on the sweet sauce.

good and fast chinese food - Edit
Had the garlic noodles, sweet & sour pork, and a Thai iced tea.
Read moreThe garlic noodles were really good and flavourful.
The pork was a bit of a mixed bag; the pork pieces were really nice and actually crisp despite sitting in the sauce. But the sauce was overly sweet, like ketchup with a lot of extra sugar added. The veggies in that dish were pretty much raw, actually the broccoli was completely raw and cold in parts, I don't know if it was intended to be like that or they forgot to add it when cooking.
The Thai iced tea was really sweet as well, more of a dessert. It tasted a bit like they used ice cream instead of milk which is tasty but a lot richer than I expected.
The service was really fast, they took my order shortly after I sat down and brought the bill early.
Pros: fast service

Flavorful and delicious - Edit
Everything we ordered was truly the best Chinese I have had. My three kids and my husband I all loved our dishes. They give you an option of 1-4 on spicy level. We chose 2 and it was plenty spicy - perfect for me. I usually find Chinese to be a bit bland but this was anything but bland - so flavorful. Vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly - still had a little crunch. I will definitely be going back anytime I am in the area!
Read moreThe person that took my order was very patient with me even though she was busy. She listened not only to what I was ordering but to details that made a huge difference. For example, I mentioned onion allergy and she immediately listed the items I had ordered with onions and changed the orders to exclude them and I mentioned my son did not like tofu (in passing) and she said, "Oh, the eggplant dish he ordered has tofu." Impressive. The price seemed very reasonable.
They even have tasty vegan desserts.
What a relief to be able to order anything on the menu and not worry about the hidden animal products often found in Chinese.
Pros: Flavorful dishes, Veggies cooked perfectly, Excellent staff
Cons: nothing, nothing, too far from my house :-)

UPDATED W/NEW PHOTOS - Edit
Got my vegan places mixed up and having a hard time deleting the incorrect photos from Happy Cow's Site. These photos are from Veggie Garden. Food was alright. Very small space, if there is a loud group of people in the restaurant you are going to get a lot of noise. Lots of great options. Very tasty. A must visit if your in the neighborhood.

Needs improvement - Edit
The experience here from start to finish was pretty odd, and the service was bad. Menus weren't brought to us for a long time, they apologized when they eventually gave the menus to us. The restaurant was nearly empty aside from one other table, but everything was slow. We weren't checked in on at all during the meal. When we ordered, the waitress was very confused and unfamiliar with the menu. I assumed she was new, but then we received the same confusing service from all staff. We were randomly brought French fries that we didn't order, and then that kept happening with various other menu items
Read moreThe veggies in all the dishes were cold and tasted watery, unseasoned, and like they had been frozen. Scallion pancakes had no scallions in them at all. Basil eggplant dish had no basil at all. Smoothie wasn't blended properly: all ice at the bottom, and only a super sweet watery liquid would come through the straw. It tasted like the same overly-processed sauce was on every dish, nothing felt fresh. The kimchi rice was a good menu item, but it didn't really taste like kimchi. Just seasoned rice.
Appetizer and drinks were brought out after we finished everything. A staff member tried to argue with us when we wanted to send something back. When we paid and thanked them, they didn't say a word to us or even look in our direction, and didn't give us a customer copy of the receipt.

Great Family Style Spot - Edit
Veggie Garden offers a huge menu of items that primarily mimic standard Chinese-American fare, but they seem to be branching into other cuisines like Korean and Thai.
Read moreWe ordered their "Very Garlicky Noodle," Sesame Chicken, and Happy Family (a medley of veggies and meats in their house sauce). Everything reminded me of when my parents used to run a restaurant and they'd bring home food like this for us. Only this time, everything is vegan friendly.
Their Sesame Chicken was fantastically prepared - light coating with a tangy sauce and a side of broccoli. We love it when dishes give you more veggies to compensate for the processed mock meats. I also enjoyed the garlic noodles and was excited that they used thick rice noodles, when most shops use egg noodles and butter - making them not vegan.
During the pandemic, they've become more no-frills mom and pop type of shop, and I am here for it. They served everything in takeout boxes and you eat on paper plates and plastic utensils to save on costs and contact. This method does make it easy at the end to take leftovers home.
I would love to come by again to try more of their dishes because what we had already was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend coming and supporting this local business if you're able.
Pros: Large portions and great value

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
Often a little wary of Asian restaurants and vegetarian/vegan options but this one is all vegan. Good food, big portions, friendly staff. Only critics in was one dish (curry vegetables) was a little bland. If I had a chance to come back, I’d ask them to add more curry flavor or to make a little more spicy. Overall though, well worth a visit.

Good vegan food - Edit
Veggie Garden offers a good selection of Chinese and Korean style vegan dishes, as well as Japanese Tempura. The entree portions are ample. The food is tasty. My favorite dish is the General’s Chicken. The lunch special provides soup, tea and your choice of rice, noodles or a rice/noodle combo. You can choose either white or brown rice. The desserts are very good, my favorite is the Vegan Raspberry Chocolate cake. They also serve beer and warm sake. The room is pleasant, with good quality tables and chairs and if you enjoy listening to smooth jazz and contemporary R&B you will love it here. The people working here are friendly and efficient. The one problem is the parking lot is small and there are other businesses in the mini mall so sometimes it is difficult to find parking. One bonus of eating here is it is located next to two shopping malls and a Whole Foods is across the street, so you can plan to eat lunch here then do your shopping before heading home.
