Vegan diner food?! - Edit
This is one of my favorite places to go because of the atmosphere and the plethora of food options. I’ve tried nearly all the frappes and loved them, so I appreciate that they have specials once in a while too. The vegan omelettes are my favorite, never had anything like them before. The chik’n & waffles and buffalo Mac and cheese were also great when I tried them. The giant gyro was a bit disappointing in terms of flavor, lacking something, but that wouldn’t deter me from trying anything else from here.

I've missed diner food - Edit
The clinks and chitter chatter add to the experience of this diner. Everything on the menu can be made vegan, if it's not already vegan. The menu is huge and I wasn't sure where to start. Breakfast seemed like a good idea, so I had the chocolate chip GF short stack pancakes and the green omelet. WOW! Just wow. The flavors of the omelet were spot on and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Their caramelized banana butter tasted like bananas foster and it was more like dessert. Zero complaints here. I wish there was a Veggie Galaxy closer to home.

Just go vegan already! - Edit
I want to give them five stars since I love the food, but I’m saving that for if they ever go fully vegan. I’m fully confident that they could and it wouldn’t scare off the vegetarians and omnis, they’d probably never even know!
Read moreThe food here is what you’d expect from the diner theme: all-day breakfast, rotating baked goods, shakes, burgers, fries, sandwiches, etc. It’s a whole bunch of unpretentious classic comfort foods done well and all available vegan. You’ll have zero problems pleasing a crowd here, including children, and anyone who claims otherwise is just unfairly judging it for not being meat.
Staff are nice, outdoor seating is nice, and pricing is really reasonable by vegan restaurant in Cambridge center standards — which is to say pricy anywhere else but a relative bargain in the context of Boston’s absolutely absurd cost of living.
Oh, and the potato salad goes surprisingly hard here, so make sure to get it as a side!

Huge menu, 3.75/5 ⭐️ - Edit
Service was excellent, Friday night and we didn’t even have to wait for a table.
Read moreUnfortunately, they were out of the mozzarella sticks (one of the reasons we chose this spot!) which was very disappointing. So we started with the Poutine and Onion Rings. Poutine was out of this world, even my 11 month old loved it!! Onion rings could’ve been skipped.
For our entrees we got the “steak” and cheese, Mac and Stack and the broccoli cheddar soup!
The steak and cheese tasted like a sausage and cheese, not worth it.
And the Broccoli cheddar soup tasted as if was from a can, not a fan.
Overall, the Poutine was the stand out dish, I’d give this place 3.75/5 ⭐️
Pros: Great service , POUTINE, Affordable
Cons: Out of mozzarella sticks, “Steak” and cheese

Amazing dinner style fare! Has eggs and cheese but can make anything veganized. Entire bakery is vegan as well as all of their sauces and frappes. Definitely go for the buffalo chikn! The portions are monster sized! Good selection of brews and drinks. The staff is really nice and service is quick and infinitely accommodating.

The vegan food is beyond amazing!!! Everything I tried was delicious. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars is because I truly believe this restaurant can be fully vegan. Your vegan food is so amazing, please ditch all animal products and go fully vegan.

Dreaming of their mac n cheese rn - Edit
Delicious diner-style food and all of it can be made vegan! So good we went twice in two days 😆 The vegan mac n cheese is TO DIE FOR! Literally the best I’ve had in maybe my entire life?? How do they make it?? We tried their hot chicken sandwich, mac stack sandwich, meatball sub, and stuffed French toast. I definitely preferred the savory dishes over sweet, but wish we could go back to try more.

Love Veggie Galaxy and you will too! - Edit
First of all, everything can be made vegan if you ask, and a lot of dishes are vegan by default. I love the Galaxy so much that I’m a weekly regular here.
Read moreThe staff is amazing and very friendly, I always feel well taken care of and the host(s) always have a smile! I’m a diner guy from way back and since transitioning to a plant based diet, I’ve longed for a good diner experience: the Veggie Galaxy is it!!
The food is everything I could want. We often get the poutine for a fun treat, French toast is delicious and made just right. (Love the banana butter kick in the middle) get it stuffed or traditional, you won’t regret either as long as you brought your appetite. The chicken and waffle is absolutely delicious with a great combo of tender seitan chicken and fluffy waffles doused in gravy and syrup mmmm-Mm. Don’t hesitate to chow down on a Mac and stack, how could you go wrong with mac’n’cheese waffles?!? Tofu scramble is nicely done with a hint of mustard that I love. I’ll never turn down a Ruben or a chick-pea tuna melt, the shakes are amazing a must try. Every bakery item I’ve ever tried has been spectacular.
Do not miss: I cannot say enough good things about the diner; hope to see you there!
Pros: Everything can be vegan, most is by default, Great staff!, Delicious food: everything you want in a diner
Cons: Not much in the way of “health food”…, …But that’s not why I go. , Sometimes a wait: very popular.

good, but not my first choice! - Edit
i wanna start off with saying this was my first time here, and i’d probably come back and try the breakfast. we started with the vegan mac n cheese bites which were delicious and nostalgic tasting, but they were served a little cold:( i got the french onion soup which was very tasty!! super oniony and slightly sweet and the bread and cheese on top was soo good i would for sure get it again. i also had a taste of my friends broccoli cheddar soup and it was veryyy delicious. then i got the vegan steak and cheese sub and it was….. eh. definitely a diner food. the potato salad was good though- lots of dill! all in all it was a good experience and i appreciate the amount of unique options and the super kind and friendly staff. but if you’re looking for a nice sandwich or meal some other places in boston may be a better choice!!

Lots of vegan choices - Edit
A fun, very busy vegetarian diner. The pancakes were delicious, although the banana butter that came with it was a bit overpowering. We came back a second time and had lunch. I had the Kendall Square burger. Although it tasted pretty good, it was a giant sloppy mess. Both my husband and I felt like we had eaten straight up junk food after we left. Good for a treat but I certainly wouldn’t eat like that often.
