Could not Find... - Edit
We used the GPS and went directly to Chinatown and then after not seeing the restaurant walked around the entire area. We finally went to the exact address and did not see any businesses listed with this name. We were very disappointed and really looking forward to eating here; I'm not sure if we completely missed it somehow or if it is closed... Although, we did have other issues finding places in Calgary, so after 1/2 an hour found Namaskar, which was a really good indian restaurant.

Good Value - Edit
We had the salt and pepper chicken with rice/noodles and veggies with a spring roll on the side. The portion was large. Chicken was excellent and veggies were nice. We also liked the spring roll. The dish reminded me of something I would get from Edo Japan. Located downtown, in chinatown's Far East Shopping Centre, it was easy to find with a parking lot across the street as well as street parking. Others indicated that there is free parking behind the building.

Pros: good value
Cons: squishy if busy

Excellent! - Edit
Surprisingly- I tried the mock seafood (and chicken on the side) in my vermecelli with spring rolls-it actually tasted good! I was on my way to the "White Oak" location, but Veggie Fusion Express was a new unexpected surprise! (It opened on Valentine's Day)
Read moreThere was a nice list of cheap eats: pita pizzas, curries, sushi, option of brown rice, sushi, miso and fresh fruit smoothies. Everything was made fresh with real vegetables. Optional are hot sauces, soy sauce, peanuts, sesame, and fried garlic. The decor is cute and the server (the owners brother, Wing) was hospitable and kind.
I look forward to seeing this place grow and find it's place on top of Calgary's list of vegan restaurants.
In the morning he serves congee-maybe more breakfast delights in the future. Open 8am-8pm. I look forward to returning there again!
Pros: fresh and tasty, friendly staff, great value
