Great Veggie place in Casablanca - Edit

Finally a great veggie place in Casa, daily specials plus regular menu items such as veggie burgers and pizzas. Our food was very tasty and the restaurant has a home cooked natural ethos. The owner and staff were all very friendly. Plus the deserts were excellent!!

Pros: Great food, Not too expensive, Fresh ingredients

Cons: None

Excellent - Edit

We really enjoyed our meals at Veggie. We went there twice during our stay in Casablanca.

The food is delicious, so many distinct flavors. We really liked the veggie burgers and the vegetable couscous served on Fridays.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and everything is well thought out. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We would definitely recommend eating at Veggie. We had lots of vegan options.

The organic espresso and brownie(no sugar added) were also delicious.

Pros: Tasty food, professional service, clean

Pros: service, savoureux, cuisine marocaine, options vegan

Tasty food - Edit

We tried the burgers which were nice, maybe a little small but good. It's definitely a lot more expensive than local cuisine, but at the same time I believe it's organic and the food was all very fresh and wholesome

Passionate& professional - great VEGAN options - Edit

We had travelled all day and looking for a lunch venue at 3.30pm (18 November 2017) and found this cute place. The owner is very passionate about whole foods and fresh ingredients and won't use any processed foods whatsoever. They don't even use a micro-wave oven, everything is prepared a-la-minute and fresh. We had 2 apple and ginger freshly made juices, SOY AND QUINOA BURGER, FALAFEL, FRESH SALAD, SOUP and the best ever - FRESHLY BAKED CHOCOLATE BROWNIES -all VEGAN, finished off with a delightful soy latte.

Pros: Fresh ingredients 100% of the time, No micro-waved food, Owner is genuine and passionate about his produce

Cons: None, None, None

Nice Surprise in Casablanca - Edit

After having a lot of difficulties finding vegan food in Marocco we more or less stumbled across this nice vegetarian restaurant.
It's in walking distance to the twin center and looks really nice! It is owned by a sweet couple that made us feel very welcome. The wife also did the service and spoke good Englisch. She translated the French menu for us and pointed out vegan options. The menu is small but offers vegan food. One out of the 3 breakfast dishes is vegan as well as the whole salad buffet, the falafel, all 3 burgers (without cheese)+sauces+ side dishes. For dessert they had vegan chocolate brownies and vegan banana muffins. The brownies tasted heavenly.
In comparison to the average maroccan food, it may be a bit expansive, but we have never eaten organic, vegan food that cheap. Personally I think they have fair prices.
We shared a salad bowl, a falafel entry and each of us had a burger and a brownie/ muffin. The food was delicious especially the salads(lentils, green beens, quinoa, beetroot...) and the brownie! (Check out the pictures)

Pros: Fresh Food, Service, Atmosphere/Interior

Cons: Relatively small portions

4 stars for the courage to open a vegetarian restaurant in a country where this concept of diet and lifestyle is still "strange".

About the food... Well... There are a lot of options but mostly ovo lacto vegetarian so I, as a vegan, struggled a little bit to choose. In the end I've chosen the soy and quinoa burger with beetroot sauce and some French fries. The portion was too small. I left the restaurant hungry and the flavor was alright. I believe they might be struggling for the lack of clients. And because of that I might be going there again. Just to help them out. The potencial is there.
Oh and the manager is super nice he explained to me all the menu and made sure all my requests were taken.

Pros: Price range, fast service.

Cons: Short on vegan options. Small portions.
