Chill vibe - Edit

Bob is a cool, relaxed guy, so make sure if you swing by you aren't in a rush. His food is really good, but is very wheat heavy, (homemade sausages), so not a ton of gf options.

Pros: Eclectic atmosphere, Unique menu, homemade items

Cons: Slower service, gluten heavy menu

Great food, interesting interior - Edit

I love this place. I was a carnivore all my life but have recently been trying to be vegetarian. My granddaughter and her fellow told me about this place. My sister and I went and were absolutley blown away by the menu and the final test was the food. It tasted great and there was lots of it. The setting is a little off the cuff but so is the owner and cook. He is a great character and the place is full of odd and different items. His food really makes it worth while. Try everything. We have been back several times and can't wait to go again. Give it a try. Thanks. Leona Jensen

Pros: Great Food, Did not miss the meat products, Lots of food for a reasonable price

The place to take my friends - Edit

I love the people and the food at Veggie Bob's. The food is tasty and filling. Bob and the peeps who frequent the place are friendly and interesting. The ambiance is eclectic. This ain't no fast food chain or pretentious dining place.

All dishes are original creations and my favourite is the Asian wrap with the tasty roasted veggies and amazing wasabi sauce.

I love taking my omnivore friends there for a sit-down meal on the sunny sidewalk or for takeout and a walk around Fort Langley.

I hope my 5-star rating shows up. (I heard there are some problems.)

Pros: great tasting unique recipes, great prices, not boring

Cons: not the place if you're into junk food, not the place for fine dining

Vegan Mexican Food in Fort Langley - Edit

Veggie Bob's is an eclectic little restaurant in Fort Langley that has a very generous menu of Mexican type dishes like Quesadillas, Taco Salads and Mex-Vegan Chili Dogs. So far I've been once and tried the Quesadillas that Bob made gluten-free by using a corn tortilla and removing the 'sausage'. I went during a weekday and it was a really nice chilled atmosphere with lots of seating. Bob's a cool relaxed guy and service fits his personality..relaxed and on the help yourself side which is fine since there is a drink fridge handy and you can just go grab what you want. The food we tried was good but a bit greasy for our personal taste. That said, I'll go again and just try something else. Bob was a cool guy and shared his story about opening the restaurant in the 70's. I recommend trying if you're in the area.

Pros: Large menu selection, Generous portions, Reasonable prices

Cons: Limited parking

Don't Expect....... - Edit

Someone to come around and ask you if your meal is
good.....if you have everything you need.....for us Bob
was a one man show. No ice in your water and if it's
chilly bring a jacket because Bob has a decidedly fresh
air approach and the wind whistles through the premise.
The decor is undecided except for "more is better" and
when in doubt....add more!! Know the rules....get your
own drink, chips if it applies and whatever else is on
your menu selection. All that said and done Bob will
make you THE BEST Veg/Vegan food you have EVER
had.......bar none!! The sausage is to die for, the texture
just like the best sausage anywhere (but tastes better).
You might look for Bob if you want dessert....we were
stuffed....or when you wish to pay but you will never
forget the food!! Bob has some of the best flavor profiles anywhere! Thanks Bob for a wonderful meal.....
we'll be back when it's warmer to sample more of your
wares and hmmm.....maybe talk about the music?

Pros: extraordinary flavour profiles, huge portions (and you just keep eating!), fair pricing....very good value!

Cons: attention to detail (ex..customers), music too loud, heavy handed with the mustard!!

Amazing all vegan menu with character. - Edit

I would love to rate this restaurant 5 stars but Happy Cow is not allowing me to do so. This restaurant has changed many times over the years and currently has an all vegan menu. Th chimichangas are the best I've ever had. The Mac and cheese is super cheesy, light, and perfect. And Bob's home made sausages are comparable to field roast sausages but bigger and better! The atmosphere of this restaurant is very laid back and unique. Bob himself is quite the character. I would love to go back and try the rest of the menu. The perfect comfort food to for anybody (no matter their diet) to try.

Pros: comfort food the appeals to everybody , All vegan menu, Restaurant has a beautiful laid back, refreshing,

Cons: I have a feeling Bob can move slow and methodicall

Super Yummy Comfort Food - Edit

In downtown Fort Langley straight across from the graveyard, it's the perfect place to stop in to have a coffee, bite to eat, or a full meal. A very interesting eclectic decor and friendly homely staff.

Homemade veggie meet and veggie dogs, homemade apple pie, homemade yumness! The portions were large, which is a good thing because I eat a lot, and very tasty. The menu is currently filled with all sorts of burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts.

We had a sub and burgers, plus nachos, and desserts. Definitely recommend this place. We'll be back for sure; Veggie Bob's is a good excuse to go to Fort Langley.

Pros: Tasty, mostly vegan., Good portions, Fills you up

Cons: Easy to order too much food, So yummy you can't stop eating, Not 100% vegan.
