Weird?

I was a bit surprised when I discovered that one of the owners of Vegg go is also one of the biggest critics of vegan lifestyle. I guess business is business.

Super

So delicious

This restaurant is sooooo nice ! It's on self-service, and you pay depending on the weight of your plate. It's not expensive at all. Everything is vegan except for some sweets (cake, muffin).
Everything is very good, especially the gaspacho and the mini cheesecake. Soooo good ! The snikers bar is fine, but you should not try it if you dont like dates ! The matcha drink are also very good.
The restaurant is also lovely, with a lot of place to seat and eat.

Pros: Cheap, Very good, Nice place

Good burgers

Pretty good soy patty burger, nice crispy buns with a thick soy patty at a cheap price. Not a fan of the buffet, hummus was good though.

Cons: Staff doesn’t understand english

Not everything is vegan but almost

Vegetarian and vegan buffet. More than 90% of the dishes are vegan from what I saw the day I went there. Not the best buffet I had in Prague but everything was really good. Especially the dishes with beans and chickpeas. Very friendly staff ! Lore expensive than other buffets in town.

Vegans beware or "You have to ask first!"

Vegans beware for this restaurant does not know how to declare vegan food properly and confronted by that its employees pass the blame to its customers.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant about 5 times during our stay in Prague, since it was very close to our hotel. On our first visit we were told that everything at the buffet was vegan. In all conscience we tried all the food from the buffet in the following days without asking again.

On our last visit we took food from the buffet and wanted to try some cakes as well. We asked again whether something of this was not vegan. To our surprise the female clerk told us, that besides some of the cakes also some of the food at buffet was not vegan.

At this moment we already had some of the non-vegan food from the buffet in one of the bowls. We were very shocked to learn that we probably ate non-vegan food for the last days because we were misguided by another clerk a few days before.

When we asked the clerk if we could get us another bowl to take only the vegan food from the buffet, she told us that we had to pay for the already taken non-vegan food as well. My girlfriend and I were not very satisfied by this answer and told the clerk, that we are vegans and that we did not want to pay for this food, especially when we were misinformed by the staff.

The clerk then said that the food at the buffet varies - it was always the same food at the buffet - and that we have to ask first. Since it was our blame, there was no apology from the clerk, not even a little sign of sympathy.

This is not the way how you treat customers unless you want them to come here and write a negative review. Since we visited this restaurant frequently we left there a worth about 2500 - 3000 CZK while the bowl in question had a worth of only 100 CZK. Considering these proportions and the fact, that we were misinformed one would expect that the restaurant would be willing to accommodate us, which - unfortunately - did not happen.

Pros: vegan croissants, "vegan" buffet

Cons: no proper declaration of vegan food, very unfriendly female clerk on our last visit

Very disappointing and unfriendly customer service!

We visited Vegg Go five days in a row during our Prague stay, on some days even twice a day. As I don't understand czech I asked the very friendly guy if there is everything vegan and he confirmed it. Some of the shields on the vitrine described the food as "without milk", which was confusing. To be sure I asked if it was vegan as on other shields there was explicitly written "vegan". Again the staff confirmed it to be vegan. On our last visit (dec 7th) I had a strange feeling after having already filled my bowl. So I asked the woman on the counter again if everything was vegan. "Not everything" she replied. So it turned out that I had eaten unvegan food at least one day! I asked if I could fill a new bowl as I didn't want to eat it. "Yes, but you have to pay this bowl anyway". There wasn't even an apology from this woman . Instead she blamed me "You have to ask us!". When I told here that I asked every time, she made me look like a liar by saying that the unvegan food was a new dish since yesterday, so I couldn't have eaten it already. Although I had mentioned that we had eaten there the last 5 days. We had spent at least 3000 czk during our stay, so it would have been the least (with an apology) to not letting me pay for that bowl for approx 100 czk. I am very disappointed about this experience as it started so nice and the (vegan) food was delicious! But since my journeys to Japan I am definitely used another level of customer service! Even the unfriendliest service in Switzerland is friendlier than that. Fortunately there are a lot of wonderful other places in Prague, as Momo, Forrest Bistro or Pastva!

Pros: cute location, vegan croissants, centrally located

Cons: very unfriendly female staff , variety of the buffet, not enough vegan croissants

WOW

This is the best place ever!
For 7 euros you can order "All you can eat" and try out everything you like. You can make your own portion, large or small, for the same amount of money. Meals were warm, everything was super tasty, staff was really trying to explain everything to us and was really friendly.
The place is really comfortable and the upper floor has a bed! All together looks amazing.
Can't wait to return to Prague because of this place.

Pros: Cheap, Super tasty, Too much vegan options

Very little food left - otherwise good

We came to have dinner but this is obviously a lunch place. Most of the food was already gone and it was cold. Food tasted good though.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Not very much food left, Cold food

Very good - try yourself!

We were spoilt with the choice of food which was very good. They have an allergy map, and every food is clearly marked. Really good ratatouille, pumpkin salad and seitan with veggies in rich sauce. Good drinks selection. Had brownie and raw vegan chocolate bite - beautiful.
I wouldn't say it's expensive. You pay for food by weight, but they also have all-you-can-eat option available. We also liked the location - we were renting on Radlicka Street, therefore short walk away. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Interesting food, very tasty., Drink selection was good as well

Decent food

Decent food, maybe a bit too salty for my liking. I obviously over did it, as couldn't help myself and literally tried everything vegan. Soup was nice and it was a great meal on this grey cold afternoon.

Small but tasty

Not the largest selection or buffet in the neighbourhood, but what is there is very tasty. Staff are friendly and willing to explain the system, whilst the upstairs seating area is calm, bright and airy - it is nice to escape to busy street and shopping centre for a bit. There's free fast wifi too.

Pros: friendly staff, atmosphere, convenient location

Cons: a little expensive compared to nearby options, smaller choice

Burger owned by a meat producing corporation

Burgers are not good at all. Been there twice, both time hardly edible. Prefabricated "meet", lousy or no salad and really terrible gummy bun. I also tried wraps, which were ok, maybe the rest is ok too.

Great food and atmosphere

Found excellent kung pao seitan in buffet! Price is really reasonable and there are a lot of different meals available. Place is cozy and staff is friendly. Also, place sells vegan croissants (along with other desserts) but didn't have the chance to try them.

Top spot for lunch on Anděl

Vegg-Go has an excellent pay-by-weight buffet - everything I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious and there's a lot to choose from. They also serve some lovely drinks (e.g. flavoured water with free refills, cold almond milk drinks etc.) Several plant milk options for coffee, too. Reasonably priced but not super cheap. The service is friendly and you can also get food and coffee to go. Non-vegan dishes marked.

Pros: delightful food, quick and easy, good location
