Vegan in Portugal! - Edit
So happy we found a vegan shop in Portugal. The man who ran the shop is so friendly and we stocked up for our holidays. They have frozen and non frozen protein meat replacers as well as tofu, organic fresh fruit and other things. They also stock faith in nature cosmetics.
This is the place to go for vegans in the algarve.

Awesome little shop with a good variety of vegan products (lots of frozen faux products which were good for our kiddos - the faux chicken strips were great!) and gluten free options too. We got chia seeds, maple syrup, vegan chocolate, gluten free pasta, all kinds of great stuff. We also got some delicious fresh local strawberries, mushrooms and onions.
Great selection of local organic craft beers too!
The shop owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend. Was the first place I've come across in Portugal that carried real maple syrup!
