Fabulous Vegan Takeaway - Edit

We were so pleased that this place existed in the area where we were staying (Gracia). Amazing range of totally delicious vegan food, and what they have available changes every day. Helpful enthusiastic staff who spoke enough English to talk us through everything on offer. Highly recommended.

Pros: Fresh interesting range., Changes everyday., Friendly and enthusiastic.

I fell in love with Vegetart! - Edit

How could I possibly not? Lovely people, good and healthy food, low prices and all this just 5 minutes walking from where I live. Great! When you go there for the first time, the vegan tortilla is absolutely a must. Biscuits are delicious too. A precious little place.

Pros: Excellent food, Lovely people, Low prices

Cons: Take away only

Great vegan food in Gracia - Edit

I'm not vegetarian nor vegan, but I appreciate veg food from time to time. Vegetart is a very nice place for take away food. Everything is cheap and has very good overall quality. The variety of food you can find is great.

Pros: Price and quality, Friendly, Coooooookies!

Small, but nice place to have some quick snack - Edit

Small, but friendly place with nice choice of home made style food. good place for lunch break or as a last resort if you're too lazy to cook something for dinner at your place :)

No volveré

saludos

Tasty snacks! - Edit

I visited during the Festa Major de Gracia so they had a limited menu of burgers and sandwiches to go, served straight to the street. Very friendly staff and the burger I had was really very good!

Best vegan take away of BCN :) - Edit

Delicious homemade food , typical catalonian and spanish food and other dishes (gazpacho, potato omelette (spanish omelette) , salads, burgers, some desserts, ....) I'm in love with the potato omelette , the best spanish omelette from BCN :D , two people can eat for 10 euros or less , Friendly , helpful and nice staff , very clean place, you have a microwave if you want to heat your food.

Only takeaway.

A vegan MUST visit :3

Pros: vegan homemade food, Cheap and delicious, Nice staff and good neighbourhood

nothing special - Edit

It's reassuring to find a vegan place so close to our Airbnb in Gracia. Vegetart was nothing special--but good for a to-go picnic. Food changes daily and goes for about €1 per item!
We went with an uninspired tomato pesto pasta--nearly flavorless, a tub of decent hummus, a tasty broccoli quiche, pizza round, and probably more forgettable items.
The interior is hot in the summer and almost clinical, but finely decorated with local arts and crafts, very charming. The guy working there was super friendly and spoke English.

Pros: all vegan, cheap, fast

Cons: boring taste, uninspired

Friendly, English speaking staff, delicious tortilla and cookies! - Edit

Very cute interior with really friendly and helpful staff. The tortilla (Spanish omelette) is so tasty that I had to come back for more, and the cranberry, chocolate and oat cookies are out of this world! Yes, it's only takeaway but it's in a great location with lots of parks nearby so it's the perfect place to pick something up for a picnic!

Pros: inexpensive and good portion sizes, friendly, helpful and English-speaking staff, delicious and healthy options

Cons: limited selection, not open weekends

Cheap and cheerful - Edit

We stayed in the area for a few nights and went to this sweet little shop twice during that time. We had some hommus, burger patties, chick peas and a piece of tart, all delicious and only €1.50 each. Staff are also lovely! Definitely recommended.

Pros: Cheap, Nice staff, Uncomplicated

Vegetart Cuina Vegana, Gracia, Barcelona - Edit

Very good variety of vegan foods, and fanastic cookies
Very good prices and friendly staff.
The sthop has a little entrance, on the left going down the street.
I shop here very often when I am in Barcelona.

Pros: Delicious taste, Prices very good, Staff friendly and helpful

Cons: They sometimes run out of cookies :)

Nice people - Edit

Have been just once. We had sandwiches, lemonade and cookies.
The taste of the sandwiches are good, but a bit dry...a few drops of olive oil could help :)
The lemonade named "linda" is great. Try the peach-sezchuanpepper.
Cookies very good.
People very friendly and helpful.
The place reminds me at these typical spanish pre-cooked stores. Simple food, selfmade.

Pros: friendly, careful about ingredients, nothing artsy fartsy, food for everyone

Cons: design a bit cold

Cheap takeaway (but not fast food) - Edit

I've been to Vegetart twice already, and both of the experiencies were great. The only downside it was that the second time they didn't have their amazing tortilla de patatas which is awesome. If you want homecooked vegan cheap food, Vegetart is your place!

Pros: Cheap, food quality, portion

Little gem in Gracia - Edit

Love it! Have only been a few times but never come away unsatisfied. Note that this is really just a deli with different treats, rolls, sandwiches, and dishes of the day that change frequently. I found it to be one of the best places for hearty, Catalan-style veg food and would eat here every day if I lived in the neighborhood. Support this place!

Pros: cheap, delicious, friendly

Cons: limited selection

Tortilla de patata to the max - Edit

Small place, take-away only, limited choice BUT super cheap & extra good !

Too bad that there isn't even a seat or two, or like a bar with high chairs...

Nothing else to say about the place, I tried tortilla de patata (omelette with patatoes), a small pizza with vegetables and a chocolate cookie.

For this little meal I paid 4euros, it's quite affordable !

The Tortilla was super excellent, the pizza was good but I was not amazed and the cookie was perfect (crispy on the outside, mellow on the inside).

The location is quite far from the center, but it's located in a nice neighborhood with cool shops. It is also not that far from park Guell +- 10 min by foot from the park.

I would definitively go back to this place if I go back to Barcelona.

Pros: Cheapness !!, Tastiness !!, Cookies !!!

Cons: Take away, Limited choice, Design of the shop (sorry not my taste)

Seems OK. - Edit

Came here looking for vegan cupcakes but unfortunately they were all out. i got a large and delicious cookie instead. They had a few savoury snacks. The locale is small and there are no seats - take away only. Good if you're in the neighbourhood and need a quick snack.

Pros: vegan desserts , cheap

Cons: limited selection

nhom nhom - Edit

i can't believe it took me so long to visit this place!
good home made food for a very reasonable price, located in the super trendy district of Gracia, with really nice service:) it's a take away. highly recommend. been there once but will certainly come back.

Pros: fair price, slow fast food

Cons: a bit far from the center, siesta time

There should be more places like this in the world - Edit

We've been 2 times at this nice place during our 7 day Barcelona visit. Both days had different tasty choices of handmade vegan food for fair prices to takeaway.
If you are in Gracia you really should visit and support this place.

Pros: tasty food, very fair price, friendly owner/staff

Must visit! - Edit

The better place in Barcelona if you want homemade, good, and cheap vegan food!
Situated in the trendy Gracia neighborhood, you can find fresh dishes, desserts, burguers, non-egg omelettes, quiches, cookies, cupcakes... Everyday has new dishes and meals to take away.

There is no place to sit inside but you can take your food and made a picnic under the shiny sun of Barcelona :)

Fast, easy and lovely, GRACIA - Edit

The best vegan cookies in the world, for just 1€!!
So cheap and made with love by a lovely girl,
humus, potatoes in the oven, pasta salads, burgers, rice,... They have options for everybody, at a very affordable price

Recommendation for fast vegan food in gracia, easy, fast and lovely meal :)

Pros: Best cookies in Barcelona, Potatoes with herbs, Price/Quality

Cons: Location a bit far from the centre, Not so many options (a bit repetitive)

Best Tortilla de patats in the world - Edit

At least once a week I visit them and buy some goooood food there. You will find the best vegan "tortilla de patatas" in the world. Wonderful people working there. Love, good food,... Highly recommendable.
Albert

Pros: Tortilla, Staff, Location

Cons: Just take away

Vegan, cheap and good! - Edit

Veget'Art is the perfect place to find cheap and good vegan food to take away for lunch. They offers a good choice of food, from pasta salad to pizza slices, desserts, chickpea salad, gazpacho, etc. Portions are generous and inexpensive. I was not able to finish all the things I had ordered for only 7 euros.

Food is sometimes relatively basic but always good and convenient to take away. The staff is friendly and the place is really cute. It is too bad that they can't offer some seats to eat there.

Pros: relatively large choice, totally vegan, friendly staff, inexpensive, nice place

Cons: only to take away, food sometimes a little basic

My favorite place in Spain - Edit

Possibly my favorite place in entire Europe! Ok its only for take out and not a place for fancy sit down meal but offers great soups salads spanish tortilla burger patties.. All delicious and only 2 euros for big serving! Perfect for getting some food for a picnic in the Gaudi park (oh and dont pay for the ticket in Gaudi park since u can still see most of it for free. If u pay u just have to wait in line forever to get in to an area which u can see from around for free) or a take home dinner. It's cheap and tasty but also not greasy fast food; much healthier option which I'd love to eat everyday.

Pros: Tasty and healthy, Freindly, Cheap

Cons: Takeout only.. but that's still fine.

Affordable, vegan take out - Edit

Super cheap, but not a lot of imagination on the day we arrived. Two dishes were white pasta, and two were potato based. Flavor was lacking. It fills your belly, but you won't be blown away.

Cheap, tasty and lovely food! - Edit

Vegetart is a great option in Barcelona if you want some take away vegan food and save some money (2 people could easily get full at only 5€ each). The owner is a fantastic and conscious girl that puts a lot of love in all the food that she cooks daily. We recommend the amazing spanish omelette (egg-free) and the mini-cupcakes.

Pros: Price, Location at Gracia's village, Tasty

Pretty good - Edit

It's a little walk from central barcelona, and it seems to be quite popular with the locals, there was at least 5 of us waiting outside for it to open at 1pm.

Good quality and variety, and not too expensive. Worth a visit.

Pros: Good food, Not expensive

Cons: A bit far away, isn't open before 1pm

Cheap Take Away - Edit

A cheap take away reminds me the "Green Take Away" in Madrid. (regards to Eva, we wait yor re-open). Large bar and no tables, only for take-away. Very inexpensive. If it would be placed close to a railway station, it will be much better for vegan trips!

Pros: Price

Cons: Take Away by default, Far from the centre

Delicious, adorable and cheap; but no seating! - Edit

This take-out only café/bakery is worth a trip. The friendly staff (with limited English) is helpful; the decor is cutesy and modern; the food is all-vegan and delicious. The food is good, but the selection is limited, as it is a very small (possibly one-woman?) operation. Just be sure to have an outside seating spot in mind before wandering around the Gracia neighborhood in search of a bench. And try the cupcakes!

Pros: all-vegan, friendly, cheap

Cons: no seating, limited food selection

Delicious vegan food made with love - Edit

If you ever happen to be in Barcelona, you can't miss the opportunity of visiting this little treasure in the heart of Gràcia's district. All types of vegan elaborations to take away, from salty, spicy and sweet options. For a quite reasonable price you can have two meals and a dessert.
Good raw materials,a range of variety and personal care is what the owner of Vegetart puts in their elaboration.
Take away Vegan Catalan food is what Vegetart offers, so you will have the possibility to try typical dishes like the spanish omelet without egg, a great gazpacho as well as hummus, varied salads, pizza, vegan burguers and cakes. Cookies and cupcakes a must. Some products are suitable for intolerants to gluten.

Pros: good quality, good prices, friendly staff and nice local

Cons: food finishes quickly! Run!

Vegetart is really what he says: vegan and art - Edit

Vegetart is a really good place to enjoy vegan meals. The owner tries to suggest the best meal to each one. So I found out that I love cookies, I can't resist a tortilla or a pizza.
In the center of Gracia...highly recommended.

Pros: cheap, high quality meals, clean

Cons: resources end up quickly (is it a con?)

Excellent Value for money - Edit

An excellent opportunity to explore the most fashionable neighbourhood in Barcelona and to enjoy excellent local vegan cuisine. Excellent service and a must if you're in town as you will be able to taste specialities like her "Spanish omelette" that is already a legend among vegans. Cupcakes, gazpacho, salads, pasta, quiches, mini-pizzas and many more to take away at very low prices ranging from 1-3 euros. Don't miss it!

Pros: Excellent service, Fresh products, Local cuisine

Cons: Only take away

Among the best value in the city - Edit

This place is a very cute and inexpensive vegan take-away located in the Gràcia district. The Spanish omelette (Tortilla) is terrific, even you cannot distinguish between this vegan recipe and the original one. Don't miss the cookies and cupcakes, they are a hit!

Also the place is now offering raw vegan dishes like cashew cheese.

Overall highly recommended.

Pros: Great value, Friendly staff, Very clean and nice

Cons: Limited opening hours

Great cheap vegan take-away food! - Edit

I got a slice of tortilla (€1.50) and a large chocolate chip cookie (€1) that were both fantastic.

It is great to see a new vegan place, especially in Gràcia which it is slightly outside the city centre away from the other vegan places.

Pros: All Vegan and cheap, Nice food, friendly staff, clean, Raw and gluten-free options

Cons: Only take-away, no seats, Closes for siesta

Vegan treats worth walking up the hill for! - Edit

Vegetarte has admirably filled the gap which the Vegan Bakery left void. A lovely vegan quiche, succulent and tasty, a "spanish" omelette and gorgeous choc chip cookie were all that we could manage his time but we will return.

This place is a good place to visit on the way to the Parc Guell (Gaudi) from the centre of BCN.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff

Cons: Take away only., A little outside the centre of town

Delicious / Cheap / Healthy Vegan Food! - Edit

I love this place, the food is for take-away and all of the dishes and desserts are very very good. The prices are incredible.. 1-2-3€
The chef is very creative and you can find different desserts as a bubble-gum flavour muffins

Pros: Delicious, Cheap, Healthy

Awesome catalan homemade food! - Edit

Vegetart is a piece of art. All their food is fresh homemade prepared by an experienced chef! You can enjoy all kind of catalan goodies in their vegan version: potato "tortilla", fideuà, soups, saladas, etc. Also, they are CELIAC FRIENDLY, so you can enjoy lots of cakes, cookies and other plates with no gluten.
Inexpensive, good and tasty. What better?

Bikes are allowed inside the big shop room!

Pros: Good food, Economic price, Variety of plates

Cons: Their schedule, it must be open 24/7
