I've been living on it

Been eating here nearly every day for a full year. Obviously, me encanta esta tienda. The menu changes daily but is always delicious, and is as well the most inexpensive plant-based place in town where you can get a meal. Because they know my face they know to remove cheese from my dish (when possible) without me having to ask. Im gonna miss this place when I leave the country next week.

Cheap tacos!

This place offers vegan pastor and chorizo tacos for only 11 pesos. The tacos were really good and we are planning to come back. They are served with some cilantro and beans.

Pros: Very cheap, Delicious

Great little spot in Nine Corners

The part of downtown where this is located is called Nueve Esquinas (Nine Corners), a very old, historical area known food-wise primarily for birria (goat stew).

Other than Alta Fibra, about a 10 minute walk away, this whole area is pretty lacking in strictly veggie places, but here you will find a nice little oasis. It's a smaller, more family style place than Alta Fibra, both of which share the same cafeteria style method of choosing items from different categories.

Their typical corrida lunch changes every day, so you will have to ask what is going on with the dishes as some can contain milk or eggs. Some of the common things you'll find here are vegan ceviche (soy & cauliflower), veggie salads, different types of savory cakes or rolls, stews, soups, and other types of special dishes. Lunches come with an "agua" or refreshing chilled drink made in-house like cucumber, alfalfa, parsley water, pineapple water, etc.

It's $55MXN for the corrida combo and it is sure to be filling. If you want a solid vegetable based meal in this area, this is one of the only places you will find it! And it is delicious!

Pros: Delicious food, always a variety from day to day, Great value, Friendly family-operated vibe
