Decent vegetable options - Edit
A good, reliable option for vegetarians and vegans on campus. Rice and three items from the selection usually costs RM 5.20. I suggest vegans ask which dishes contain egg - it’s usually quite visible, but sometimes egg tofu is used. Specifying vegan will not always be understood (best to ask if something contains egg or milk/butter if it looks oily/creamy). I tend to avoid the curry dishes as they often contain milk (though it’s worth asking, as they sometimes use coconut milk). Rice with three vegetable dishes is probably the safest vegan option.
Read moreIf the vegetarian stall is closed/has limited options, the Chinese stall will make vegetarian (specify no egg) dishes on request e.g fried rice or noodles (with or without mock meat) as the vegetarian and Chinese stalls have the same owner.
Pros: Most vegetable dishes are vegan, Usually a decent number of dishes
Cons: ‘Vegan’ not understood , If you go for a late lunch options may be limited
