Fabulous vegan on main street - Edit
For breakfast I had a mushroom pate and salad baguette for just 19000kip. Not many options for breakfast but what I had was great. Lunch was mushroom noodle soup, mock meat and tempura mushroom for 30,000!!!. Generous portions, really tasty and fantastic value for money. The English name is Vegetarian Food. Owner is very sweet and speaks good English.

They serve only noodle soup on Saturdays and Sundays, rice was going to be served only on Monday afternoon (so Monday morning they still had only noodle soup).

Cheap and cheerful! - Edit
We had a simple noodle soup and summer rolls which were very fresh and tasty. A lot cheaper than the more westernised places.

Cheap and good! - Edit
We took the spring rolls (10 000 kips) and today's special (15 000 kips) which was rice, mixed vegetables, mushrooms and tofu with a lemon grass/ginger broth. Everything was good specially the spring rolls sauce!!! You can have the spring rolls to go, which is perfect for a snack or a picnic :)

Very tasty baguette sandwiches! - Edit
I stopped here on my way to a long bus trip to stock up on food. I was very happy to see they were open (this was just after 7am on a weekday)! They were selling sandwiches (banh mi style) made with a kind of pate and fake meat, plus cucumber and herbs. Super tasty and cheap (7000 kip for one)! The owners are really nice and friendly, and speak a bit of English.
