Lifesaver!

We had 30 mins to kill at Rayong bus station so finding this place was a godsend! Easy 5 minute walk. The ladies were lovely and the food was decent. Good buffet selection with additional items like gyoza for takeaway. Cheap too.

Great restaurant! Loads of options!

This is a lovely Jae restaurant! It is a little bit down the road from where the location is set on here.

Home style Thai food

Hole in the wall style homey Thai food. Staff speaks some English. Make sure to ask if it’s ped maak (very spicy).

My favorite spot in Rayong so far.

Disappointing

Well stocked shop but food is bland and oily.

Nothing commendable apart from low price.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Bland food

Favourite vegetarian shop in Rayong

I've been coming here for years. The food is great and reasonably priced and the staff and owner are super friendly. The do sit in or take away (buffet style, not cooked to order) and have a vegetarian groceries section that is much cheaper than local supermarkets.

Pros: Fully Chinese-Thai vegetarian , Good food and selection, Economic price

Homey food

Frankly speaking, the food is not spectacularly delicious but it does give me homey taste. The economy rice is by self service, you take how much you want to eat. The selection of veggie is various, but there is no heating device so the food is cold.

I don’t really like cold food. So I got the hot kway chap and wanton mee after having the cold rice and noodle on the first day. The kway chap tastes a bit too sweet but the wanton mee is nice and with a lot of ingredients. I love their fried rice and would bring back for dinner as I can’t find any decent eating place nearby. The fried rice tastes so good and I would specially request for adding in chili to make it more flavorful.

It’s confirmed that no egg, onion/garlic used in the shop and they use coconut milk in the curry. However, I would check every time when I order the food. There are other snacks like bao, dumpling, sweet potato soup and traditional pastry. I particularly love their dumpling and bao! They are really yummy and I have them for breakfast for 5 days consecutively.

If I ever come back to Rayong in future, I will surely visit this shop again!! Definitely recommend it if you are in Rayong 🙂

Pros: Lots of vegan option, Friendly staff

Cons: Cold veggie

Nice staff, average food

Staff speaks little English but was eager to help. Food is pay per plate, 30 baht per entree and 10 baht per plate of rice. We got one thing that was really spicy, way too spicy even though we like spicy food.
LOCATION: Just north of 'Wat Khotkhimtharam Municipal School' on Sukhumvit Nakornrayong 46. About 100 feet south of the main road.

Pros: cheap, friendly

Cons: hard to find (read my description!)

typical low budget restaurant and shop

They have already early in the morning a very variety of Food (specially a lot of tasty meat alternatives). the most of products of the buffets are also able to be taken from the shop (frozen or in cans, or dried). The staff is very Kind and helpful. They are able to understand some English. Looks like everything is vegan, exept the honey. Ist also very cheap.

Pros: Choice, Price, Shop

Cons: difficult recognize from the outside
