One of my favorites is closed now

Was a great place with good food. They now have a sign in the window that reads “closed call 404-552-7375 for delivery”.

Pros: Great food, Great smoothies

Cons: No longer open

Very bad service good food.

I went here the other day for the first time in several months. I stood the counter for 20 minutes while the person working behind the counter spoke with a lady to the left of me. Serval of the people in line left and after while so did I.

Delish!! Great flavor & texture!

Friendly service, tasty dishes with many vegan options. Quick service. Will definitely be back.

Bodega

So I tried VP today and I felt like I was walking into a Bronx Bodega. Not really a Resturant feel, more like a social hang out. Ironically as others have mentioned, the guy behind me in line after being ignored for sometime (as I was), walked out as well.

So here is my beef. First I had to ask for a menu as the menu is not on the wall anywhere nor on the counter. Second I was there during lunch and none of the menu items could be ordered. I couldn’t get a dinner item which would of had me spend more money, nor could I order other items pegged as breakfast. So guess what, the ONLY thing I could order was a veggie burger - no joke no hyperbole. I told the guy I have a frig full of veggie burgers. I didn’t decide to go out to eat to get the same stuff I have at home. Then the price on the menu he did hand me was a different price I was charged. It was “changing”. That’s nuts. I could have fought for my $0.50 cents but my time is more valuable.

Now here’s the thing. I get small business because I’ve been a small business owner all my life. I get not having staff so you have to almost do everything. Even running in and out the back which leaves the new clients at the counter drifting - in this case drifting back out the door. I get not cooking everything and hoping it sells and if it doesn’t have to throw it out. I get that.

But for this business to thrive you need more than good food. I ate at the upscale Southern Gentleman in the shops of Buckhead last weekend and the food here was much much better (of course I only had a burger) but So Gent is making 1000’s x’s more money and was packed.

So if the ownership gets past the Vegan thing and learns that this is a business and learns how to build a business and service customers by doing something as simple as acknowledging the guest visiting your resturant at the counter, will go a long way. A simple “hello” or “welcome” instead of the NYC bodega vibe will go a long way - and of course courtesy is FREE.

I wish them well.

One man Stunt Show - Veg. Paradise

My best friend and I were wanting to avoid cooking dinner so we decided to try out The Vegetarian Paradise. We were not disappointed. There is one man calling, making and serving the orders. this food is delicious

I decided to give this place a try. I'm so happy that I did. The veggie burger was delicious. They offer so many healthy options. I also got the ground "beef" wirh steamed vegetables. I have been having a hard time getting my daughter to eat vegan but she devoured this food. I will definitely be going back.

Great Food but Unappealing Environment

I came here 2 years ago and left immediately. I decided to give it a second try today with a little more of an open mind and the following was my experience. This place is easy to find using GPS but the exterior of the shopping center and neighborhood is unappealing. The interior of the eatery is clean (health/safety rating was A) but bland and uninviting. There is very little seating and very little food on display. That said... The staff is friendly and the food is very good with a little Caribbean kick. I will return here. If you are open-minded and willing to look beyond the aesthetics then this place might also be for you.

the most intelligent restaurant I've ever been in. Very unimpressive.. Really limited selection and nothing sounded appetizing. 4 other people in there with me and no one was being helped. I'm glad there was no one behind the counter, actually, because I would have felt kinda bad when I turned around and walked back out. This was no paradise, and I'm not just being a vegan snob! Here's your warning, people of happy cow...

Really Special

the Vegetarian Paradise is the bomb!! I love carribean food and they sure are doin it right. They give samples of many items. Also, the drinks are out of this world!!!! The smoothies and juices they make are really special, I don't see a selection like this anywhere else on the east coast. This place is definitely worth a visit or two! Big ups to the paradise. they are doing it right!

Pros: Yummy, Fabulous Drinks, Affordable

Cons: A little out of the way

Good food but served in stiafoam plates.Not good for eating in because it is very noisey because of the blenders going all the time

Wonderful

This is a great restaurant with some wonderful food. The is great flavor. The wait can sometimes seem long, however, with the excellent and friendly service (along with the delicious food) you won't mind the wait. My husband found this place on his way to work and I have been in love with it from day one.
