Breakfast
Small authentic vegetarian outside kitchen. Small menu from which you can choose - not all dishes are available all the time. Drive down street where the restaurant should be, up on the hill. Thai food with mock meat products, some of which are vegan. The restaurant is located next to the parking lot opposite Wat Mae Ead. Open Mon-Sat 8:00am-5:00pm. Closed Sun.

Best veg food in Chiang Dao! - Edit
Best veg food in Chiang Dao! We were wary after two terrible meals at the veg restaurant next to the fresh market, but this place turned out to be a gem. The menu is full of mistakes and we just randomly ordered four dishes without having any idea what they were. They all turned out delicious (but be warned that the “fried basil” is quite spicy). The curly noodle-like thing was something I’ve never had before. We ordered it from a photograph instead of from the menu, so I don’t even know what they call it. It was served with tofu and mock meatballs in a sweet-salty broth is similar to Taiwanese lu wei. The broad rice noodles in gravy with tofu and veggies was delicious. The “tom yum porridge” turned out to be a mistranslation—it’s a standard tom yum soup, very lemony and fresh.

Pros: Not too oily or overly seasoned , Lots of tofu and veggies, Friendly service, staff speak a little English
Cons: Poor menu translation—every dish is a mystery, Tables were dusty and dirty
