Good tasty comfort food

Had lunch here with my wife and ordered yong tau foo and wanton noodles. Love the soup base of yong tau foo, it has mild herbal taste. The yong tau foo items are hit and misses (e.g. bittergourd and tofu was nice but the lady finger is fibery and brinjal not cooked through). Love the texture and taste of the wanton noodles, midly spicy and texture was just nice, not too springy. Wanton can be soggy quickly so have to eat that first.

Pros: Friendly owners, Tasty ytf soup and wanton noodles, wallet friendly prices

Cons: Some ytf items can be better

Decent Yong tau foo

Decent variety of items to choose from. Sweet n chili sauce mix is good. Reasonably priced. Had dinner at 7pm, but items look quite dry from long exposure. After cooking in water, back to original state. 😅

Herbal soup Yong Tau Foo

The yong tau foo soup (same goes to the wan tan mee soup) is delicious with strong herbal (dang-gui) fragrance, the home made yong tau foo paste is yummy, minimum 6 pieces (50 cents each), definitely will go again 😋

Pros: Variety of cheap and delicious food

Cons: Need to walk from Boon keng MRT
