'Jay' (vegan) cafe. Serves typical Thai dishes. Riceberry rice and plenty of choices of various tofu and fake meat curries and stews. There's also a separate stand inside with fake meats. Limited English spoken. Relocated from 32 Rim Khlong Prapa Rd. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-6:00pm.

Nice authentic experience

Its a simple restaurant mostly for locals as it seems. There is no menue but a few precooked foods that you can choose from. It is really cheap. They charged 140 Baht for two full meals, so we gave them a big tip.
The Adress here is not correct. This is the correct one: 32 Rim Khlong Prapa Rd, Bang Sue, Bangkok 10800, Thailand
You can also find it on google maps.

Very good local food

The place itself looks like a typical Thai buffet style cafeteria. Big pots with various foods. You can lift the lid and take a look for yourself to see what you fancy.
The ladies serving food don't really speak English , but never had any problems ordering.
Purple riceberry rice is served as standard which is a bonus.
The dishes range from day to day. Quite often by the end of the day the choices are limited.
Would highly recommend the peanut soup. There are normally a variety of soupy/stewy things. And a few curry like things. Normally around 8 things in total.
Inside there's also a fake meat and mushroom section !
The mushrooms are sold per 100 grams and are the highlight of my visit there every time I go. Really meaty and chewy.
The location on happy cow is incorrect as it's one road away. Just type 'vegeterian' on Google maps and it's the only thing that comes up in the area. It will lead you straight there.

Pros: Riceberry rice and mushrooms

Cons: No public transport nearby
