Wonderful and tasteful vegan food - Edit

This place has a very delicate and particular style of cuisine. Go here for a date or a nice dinner/lunch, it's quite exquisite. The portions are moderate and the food is very refined. I found it quite enjoyable.

Also the tables have a good space between each other so it feels less crowded than other places, the acoustics are lovely so it's not noisy and it has a piano on a stage, they sometimes host music.

Most definitely worth a visit

Pros: Refined food, Very balanced taste

Nice place near downtown Padua - Edit

I can recommend this place. As the other reviewer said, they recently moved to this location a few steps north of the river that demarcates the old town from the station area. It's a bit hidden in a side street: look for the large Brazilian place and go around the corner there.

They feature a weekly changing menu of appetisers, side dishes and main courses and 10 or so fixed side dishes. Vegan options are clearly marked - I'd say 60 to 70% is vegan, the rest is ovo-lacto. It's not inherently clear what counts as side dish and what is a main (to judge the portion size you can expect), so better ask if unsure.

Expect to pay around 20 Euros for the food, more if you go for dessert. Everything I had was very good.

There's a fixed spot for a band at one side of the relatively large room; they also had some announcements for other special vegetarian-themed events taking place.

Lovely organic restaurant in Padova - Edit

VegatariAmoci has moved from Abano Terme to the centre of Padova, and I think there have been some great improvements to the furnishings, the location and the whole vibe to it. The restaurant is really modern and alternative, they even have a space dedicated only to music as they host almost every week local groups to play live during lunch or dinner. The food is great, it's all organic (great!) and they offer both vegetarian and vegan options, which is great even if you don't identify yourself as either of them but just want to try something different! In their menu they usually offer a wide choice of appetisers, soups, salads, main dishes and a lot of cakes, desserts and biscuits. All the staff is really kind and professional, so I would definitely recommend it!

Pros: Good value, Great organic food, Both vegetarian and vegan
