Tasty food, reasonable price - Edit
This restaurant is the sister restaurant to the nearby ‘Veggie Pause’. It must have opened recently and the staff at Veggie Pause recommended that we try it and offered us a 10% discount card to be used on a meal at Vegetal Spot. They offer two separate menus, one vegetarian and one vegan. The menu specifies which items can be made gluten free. Both menus are offered in English and French. The restaurant isn’t on Google Maps yet but if you search the name of the restaurant that was there before you will find it (Bamboo Kitchen). Otherwise, head to the Bab Boujloud gate (the Blue Gate of Fes). Stand at the gate looking out of the Medina and you will see Vegetal Spot across the road on your left. The food is tasty, prices are reasonable and the staff super friendly.
Read moreThe menu says they serve coconut and almond milk for coffees and hot chocolates (in the ‘drinks’ section of the menu). However, one of their smoothies says it has soy milk in it and another says it has oat milk. So, personally preferring soy milk with my coffee, I asked if they had it and if I could get a soy latte to which they said yes they had soy and yes I could have a soy latte😄
Pros: Yummy food, Friendly staff, Reasonable prices
