off the strip and off the hook - yes i know that was terrible

I love this place, the food is amazing and the staff super courteous. Weekend girl friends trip to vegas, and the only thing safe to report back is the amazing breakfast we shared here before heading home. kidding

None of us could decide what to eat so we decided to order it all and share.

* First thing was the yelp check in sangira's are super yummy and needed!
* Chick'n and waffles, really!!! thank you to the gods the oldand the new. tThis was amazing. the waffle was crispy and not to sweet and paired wit hthe friend chick'n and a little syrup and hot sauce we were in love.
* Bao-wow This steamed bun was amazing
*East West Tacos - a little diffacult to eat, but I just went for it, these had a great texture and flavor.
* My little dumpling - shitake mushroom and spinache dumpling - only complaint was there was not enough, these were delish.

Pros: serves drinks!!!!!, vegan, variety in the menu

Cons: none

good food once I was able to order

I am grateful for all plant based restaurants. Being on a restrictive diet (no night shades, soy, wheat) is even less fun when forced to be THAT customer. You know, the one that needs to know everything that goes into my stomach. In times like this it is helpful to have a knowledgable server. I was surprised at the lack of this in a restaurant that has managed to keep all five stars. The menu would be better if it listed ingredients instead of vaguely descriptive. All the staff were friendly. But when the waitress needs to leave to go ask what's in each dish I wanted, didn't ask if we wanted beverages and later forgets to bring the check, it makes for a less than stellar dining experience.

Pros: food was good and fresh, casual

Cons: poorly descriptive menu, lack of server knowledge in a health food environm

An oasis filled with food that will make you smile

This was a very welcome place after travelling for hours on the road with only bread and peanut butter on the go. We both loved our dishes and felt the vitamins and good nutrients filling our body. Loved the sweet potato quesedillas.

Pros: Good portion sices., Fresh homemade lemonade (+refills)., Decent prices.

Nice flavor

First time at a VegeNation. We tried the pizza with the pineapples and jalapeño. Was very tasty and enough to share with husband! Definitely would have it again!

Yummy chipotle ranch dressing!

Ate there May 1st, 2016, while visiting Vegas. The bean and rice salad really hit the spot. I wish I could have taken home a big bottle of their chipotle ranch dressing.

Pros: Big portion, Nice servers, Tasty food

Yumm

Have enjoyed every meal we have had a VegeNation. We travel to Las Vegas on business 2 times a year. We eat at VegeNation 2 or 3 times per trip.Meatball Sandwich is the bomb. I enjoy the tamale apps. Always leave room to split a brownie sundae..ALWAYS.

Pros: All Vegan, Selection, Taste

Excellent Find

So happy to have found this place in Downtown Vegas. Three of us tried the restaurant and got three different dishes and appetizers so we got a good cross section of the food and we loved each dish. The special was Chick'n and Waffles which was excellent, and the dessert were all amazing, especially the cheesecake.

Pros: Atmosphere, Location , Free refills

Cons: Speed

delicious meal & wonderful atmosphere

My boyfriend and I are visiting family in Vegas and thought we'd give this place a shot since it wasn't here last time we came. It was a pleasant surprise that it was a few blocks away from my favorite area off the strip --Fremont--and also vegan. We ordered a half salad of Big Haus with herb vinaigrette (and it was a large portion for being a half size which we were pleased with because we love our veggies) and the Vegenation Burger. Everything was SO good!! Probably one of the best veggies burgers both of us have had. Really flavorful and juicy. The potato wedges on the side were yum too but I would have preferred a different sauce than marinara (or at least a warm marinara sauce). We ordered a Raw Carrot Cake to go as well that looks amazing (going to go eat that now:) !! All of the servers were friendly and had a good taste in music. We loved the plants around the restaurant and decorations. :) Overall a lovely experience, definitely recommend! Will be returning here when we visit Vegas again to try the rest of the menu!

Pros: nice atmosphere /music / servers, delicious food

vegas local; favorite place to bring the family

We eat here often and our kids love it (ages 7 & 15). Our 15 year old loves the Bao Wow, we now order 2 of them! Both kids love the spaghetti so please keep them on the menu! My husband and I sometimes pick the daily special which is usually unique and tasty. The ice cream dessert with caramelized bananas and black bean brownie is a must order!

Pros: friendly staff, fun art

Cons: pay to park

AMAZING! Healthy and Delicious!

I've been several times and now it's our main eatery when we travel to Vegas. The tacos, burger and sushi roll are amazing. The staff is well cared for by the owner/chef, who I'm told, feeds them well and contributes to their gym membership to keep them healthy. Turn over is low and everyone loves working there. Therefore, service is great, good is awesome and I can't recommend it enough.

Plus it's all vegan. What a TREAT!

Pros: food, decor, staff

Cons: wish had more savory breakfast items

all vegan in downtown

This was our first trip back to Vegas since VegeNation opened, so we were very excited to give them a try, especially since they are downtown right near our hotel. We arrived for Saturday lunch and got the two for one bloody mary and mimosa. Dirk also got a cold brew coffee that came with refills, including letting him take one to go afterwards. We got the Bao Wow to start and the sweet potato pecan ravioli and pho for entrees. The Bao was amazing. Must try. The ravioli was a bit sweet as I was warned, but still excellent. Dirk enjoyed his pho. We got the cheese plate for dessert and loved the smoked gouda. We must go buy some from Virgin Cheese. Our server was friendly and informative. The place got busier the longer we were there. Also, loved the vegan art on the walls. We are very excited for our next trip to Vegas to check out more menu items.

Pros: all vegan in downtown, variety on menu, friendly staff

My best vegan food ever.

We ate there a few months ago and i've had writing a review on my mental todo ever since. I make it a goal to try a few veg places in every city I visit around the world.

The food here stood out. Very create combinations of flavours in the dishes. Suprizingly nice, fresh ingredients. It's small and a bit off the main roads, but do visit!

Pros: Amazing food, Amazing food, Genuine friendly service

Cons: Plates not big (healthy sized)

Tried something new, loved it

I like to ask the server "what your favorite thing on the menu?" She recommended the East Meets West tacos. I was VERY skeptical.

They turned out to be AMAZING. I wish I had gone before my last night in town. I would've gone back again.

Definitely put this on your list for Vegas.

Pros: All vegan, Unique

awesome food, awesome service

My family and I ate dinner here and we loved it! There were so many great options to choose from. We highly recommend the sweet potato ravioli and the sushi appetizer. Our server was helpful and kind. The amount of food for the price was good. The atmosphere was perfect- artistic, fresh, and earth & animal-friendly!

not as great as expected

I've been vegan for 3 years, and spent that whole time in Portland, so I had some lofty expectations. this place fell flat...
it seemed as though the smoothie we ordered had ice as the two main ingredients. I ordered the meatball sandwich as our server said it was his favorite item on the whole menu. it was just Gardein meatless meatballs with a sprinkling of Daiya cheese and not near enough sauce. while I have nothing against that, I could easily make it in my kitchen. I enjoy being wowed when I go out to eat.

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: rather bland

Great breakfast

I got the tofu scramble and it was very good. Best vegan breakfast I've had in a long time. Service was great and the place has a nice atmosphere as well. Coffee was good too! I'll be back to try more items on the menu next time I'm in Vegas.
