Very nice vegan restaurant. - Edit

I went there already with colleagues as well as with friends and family, and had always an overall great experience.

It's a great vegan only restaurant, nice place, nice staff and good vegan food.

We had even once 'Vegan Chef Donald' coming out of the kitchen when he knew we were overseas vegans family coming to his restaurant. He welcomed us and we had a nice chat. Always a nice warm touch, which was great!

The passion and love of the staff for what they are doing, is great to see and is one of the lovely points of this restaurant.

Wow. - Edit

I understand why this place is so highly rated. It was packed on a Friday night, so we chose take-out.

We ordered the “save the tuna” sushi, the chicken pot pie gnocchi, and the Pamela Anderson “tacos.” They all survived the 20 minute travel time. So delicious. Outstanding. Yum. And the prices were reasonable.

The only complaint is that I wish they had a bigger restaurant to seat more customers.

Good food, unfortunate when busy - Edit

We went three times; the first time our service was great. The food was pretty good - we asked for a portion cup of more sauce for the burger and she brought it to us, later charging us for it without letting us know ahead of time it would cost. Towards the end of our meal they started getting busy, and you could tell they rushed out our desert as it was cold instead of warm.
The second & third times I went and got a smoothie for breakfast; the first one was great, and they weren’t busy when I got it. The smoothie I got today had an inch of space from the top and was watery thin. I also had to wait 15 minutes for it even though I had called and ordered ahead.

Pros: vegan , healthy, friendly

Cons: service when busy , consistency, price

Meh... nothing special - Edit

We ordered an appetizer and two entrees, so I think we tried enough on the menu to say this place isn't worth the hype. The ambiance and location are nice, but the food is pretty average. I don't live here. I was just in town for a conference. So this place may be awesome compared to the other vegan options in town, but it certainly didn't wow me. In fact, it was so mediocre that I wouldn't return.

Pros: Nice staff, Tons of variety across different ethic cuisines, Great ambiance and location

Cons: Meh, Meh, Meh

great spot for vegan food in Vegas! - Edit

In my opinion, this is one of the best vegan spots in Las Vegas!! Such great menu options as well as helpful employees and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommend the spaghetti and “meatballs” as well as the quesadillas, both are absolutely amazing!

Good Food - Edit

Quirky names and delicious food!
Even meat-eaters will be happy here, the food is that good!!

(Explanation of my "con" comment --
I once walked in while they were open for breakfast. Restaurant was completely empty! No staff in sight!! I walked all the way to the back. Still could not see any staff. I look around for a few minutes and then walked out. Still not sure what was going on! At lunchtime, I have not had this problem.)

One of my go to's - Edit

One of the best spots near Freemont. Good variety of dishes. I've tried most items on the menu and although the dishes don't usually come out the same everytime, I am never dissapointed. Very modern look and some dope artwork inside.

delicious!! - Edit

We had the tamales, bao wao, stacked eggplant, and the pho-king delicious all were excellent!! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I had the tiramisu for dessert that was ok. In not a big coffee fan though. We will definitely be back next time we are in Las Vegas. Out of the 2 vegan places we tried here this was our favorite.

got so much worse - Edit

Walked in, walked out. Overcrowded, loud, attracts a lowbrow crowd and a lot of obese/unhealthy looking people that, frankly, ruined our appetite. We came here a little over a year ago and had a nice experience, but this time we couldn't even stay as the vibes were so blah, and the 2 fat guys at the table next to us were licking their fingers so loudly that we were totally turned off. Before this attempt, we came here a week earlier and some really obese people waiting in line before us (plus the fact that there was waiting time) turned us away. While it's good that obese people switch to vegan options, looking at VegeNation's regulars, it's clear that their food is not good for health. So, too funky for us. PS: the attached photos in this review are from our previous visit from ~2016.

Danielle.Riddel 17 Apr 2018 - How incredibly pretentious of you. Must be hard to walk around this world with all the disgusting fat people turning you off at every turn. This place is better without you. Jerks.

Very tasty and a big portion. I can also recomend the coffee mixed with green tea and other goodness. Even the music was great.

Awesome Menu - Edit

The menu has such a wide selection of dishes from Tacos to Pho to Sushi. We tried the SAVE THE TUNA, the BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER WINGS, MY LITTLE DUMPLING, DANIEL NEGREANU (meatball sub) and THE VEGENATION BURGER. THE VEGENATION BURGER was underwhelming but the DANIEL NEGREANU meatball grinder was amazing. We could have eaten plate after plate of the BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER WINGS too!

Pros: Wide Selection, Friendly Staff, Great Casual Vibe

Cons: THE VEGENATION BURGER needs improvement

Delicious Vegan Food in Vegas! - Edit

Took some non-veg family for lunch. Such a cool restaurant, adorned with art, stickers, and indoor plants. Lots of lovely and creative options including food from different regions, and different kinds of dish options.

A total plus that you don’t find at many vegan restaurant is labeled oil free options. Definitely appreciated by those who limit unhealthy refined fats. Would definitely visit again!

Pros: Awesome ambiance, Fantastic food and service, Oil free and healthy options
