Cheap simple vegan food

Sounded like everything on the menu was vegan. The food is freshly made and the owner is friendly. The hot pot was ok but the sambal rice was great. Cheap too

Pros: Cheap, Nice owner

Average

Wide choice of mock meats, acceptable crispy chick and ice lemon tea. The dumplings weren’t too good. We had to wait a bit for the food. I’ve been to cheaper places in Malaysia, the food isn’t anything special but costs as in some fancier places.

Amazing!

We tried a lot of the different food, and it was all so good and very affordable. I will recommend trying the veggi fish that was my personal favorite

Good mock meats

We had 3 dishes with rice - Crispy chik, mutton curry and mushrooms and broccoli. The Mock meats were very good which we liked but maybe steer clear if mock meats freak you out as they were very meat like. The mushroom dish was disappointing, it didn’t really have any flavor at all.

The menu was quite tricky to navigate and maybe a bit limited as they had no tofu which wrote off a quarter of the menu but when we asked for it to be explained the waitress was very helpful.

All in all it was a nice meal and felt like a very authentic restaurant. We really enjoyed the Chinese tea too!

Tasty and affordable.

We really enjoyed the food here. We had a chicken rendang - soooo good. And we had a curry mee - also very good and spicy. Nice owner - speaks some English. And they have some snacks and cookies for sale. Enjoyed it.

Pros: Vegan. , Affordable

Cons: May be difficult to figure out some dishes

Vege super good

Good place for vegan food. The stuff was friendly and helped us choosing the dishes. I tried the yam ring with mock meat and loved it.

Awesome Spot!

I wasn't looking for vegan options, only vegetarian & gluten free and there were lots of options for me! I ended up choosing the Curry Vert. Mutton Rice which was mock meat made from mushroom stems, and RM 7.50. It was delicious and a very welcome flavourful change from the plain rice I ate for RM 5 last night! The owner is friendly and speaks good English and explained some menu items to me. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Pros: Expansive menu, Owner speaks English, Affordable

Functional Chinese style

This is a pretty functional veg restaurant. Staff were friendly, food was ok (fried chicken made from seitan was good, ribs ok too).

Excellent food taste, clean and cosy environment!

Love this restaurant. Very cosy, calm homely feel, with beautiful music playing in the background. The owner is very friendly with sweet warm smile. I had fried wantan noodle, steam dumpling and wheatgrass with carnation milk. Everything in this restaurant is claimed to be eggless. Even the milk in the wheatgrass drink is plant-based (carnation). It is more like a vegan restaurant, although the signboard says vegetarian.

I enjoyed the food and drinks here. I love the steam dumpling the most! Will definitely be back here with more friends and family too! Oh, and the price was also unexpectedly low for the great taste and big portions! Definitely worth the time, money and energy spent to visit this quaint cosy place! 💖

For the first time visitors, it is easy to spot this restaurant too as it is right by the road side. There are available parking spaces in front of the restaurant for those who drive.

Pros: Vegan, cosy, friendly staff, ample parking spaces

Cons: None

Tasty soup

I find that often the soups I order at veg restaurants are tasteless but not this time. We had 2 different kind of soups and the broth was very tasty. We also had the wheatgrass juice which was good as well.

Pros: they have AC , tasty food

Taste explosion!

I loved it here! The place looks simple, but wow, the food is out of this world! Couldn't get enough of it! Delicious vegan soy dish and something with mushrooms, together with veggie dumplings, I seriously over ate myself. I will be back.

Good, cheap food

We were told by our waitress that everything could be made/comes without milk. They don't use egg either so most of the food is or can be made vegan. Varied portion sizes between meals but they all tasted excellent. Spent 30RM on 3-4 dishes

Pros: Cheap food, Great taste , English speaking

Cons: Portion sizes seem to vary

Great Chinese veggie food

I'm always suprised at what Chinese restaurants can do with tofu and TVP to make fake meats and fish. I ate satay 'meatballs' which is a local speciality and was really tasty - just the right amount of spicy and you could really taste the peanut sauce. I also had brown rice (a real treat in South-East Asia!) and the healthy tofu stir-fry which was pretty nice, but I should have ordered less as I couldn't finish it all. I had a lovely liquoric-y tea as well. I couldn't fault the service, the owner was lovely and friendly and I just wish the place had been busier (although it seems that many businesses in Melaka are quiet at the moment). The whole meal cost 16MYR (about $5) so fairly reasonable considering it really filled me up!

Pros: Friendly staff, large portions, healthy food

Cons: atmosphere is lacking as it was quiet

Decent Chinese Vegetarian Food

Stumbled upon this quiet restaurant with friendly staff. Tried their dumpling soup, siew mai and fried wanton noodles (See photos). Taste is good and price is reasonable.
