Vege Cafe

Visited in December 2016.

I arrived around 17.30; and unfortunately they did not have anything but the Quinoa Salad left.
If I understood correctly, according to the staff, the kitchen works until 14.30 or 15.00; and after that they just offer what they have left.
So, if you go for lunch time, you should have plenty of choices!

The salad was yummy, though! I also had a chai, which was acceptable, considering it was from a tea bag.
Muffins (luckily they had some left) were also good.

So, despite the poor choice, everything I had was good; so I'd definitely come back again to try more.
The staff was also very nice, by the way.

In the meantime, if you'd like to come grab some food after 15.00, I'd recommend you call in advance, as they say they could keep a plate for you if you do so. :)

I had lunch here with a friend and we both loved the food and atmosphere. I had the Buddha Bowl which was delicious and nutritious, not as huge as it could have been but was a good size. We both had the vegetable soup and I also had a juice that was quite good. The staff were quite friendly and helpful, and the decor is informal but quite nice. If I lived in Laussane, I'd probably make it a thing to eat here once a week!

Walked in today to get a vegan croissant, and to my surprise was told everything is vegan! So I also had a pain au chocolat, I was spoilt with choice as there was plenty. The staff was very friendly and smiling, the place is big and modern and was fairly full, it looks like any regular tea room. Sandwiches looked really nice too.

Joli café de quartier tout beau tout neuf qui vient d'ouvrir. Tout y est délicieux et l'offre est quasi uniquement végane. Le boulanger fait du bon travail, les vroissants et les sandwichs (houmous, avocat, roquette...) notamment sont excellents. Accueil sympathique et carte en cours de conception. Les prix sont très abordables et permettent de déguster un peu tout sans se ruiner !
