Vegaria is probably the best vegan option at Boa Viagem neighborhood, they have many options of sweets (seriously good cupcakes) and "salgados": I had a "doguinho" (a sort of baked hot dog with a rice sausage - delicious!) and a jackfruit "coxinha".

Best coxinhas ever! - Edit
Not only do their coxinhas taste amazing, they have a gluten-free option!!! Plus, their empadinha de camarão breaks the boundary for any piscetarian - it tastes and feels just the same as any other shrimp empadinha I'd had before going vegan. As another upside, Vegaria started bringing vegan options to the more "posh" side of Recife, Boa Viagem. They have creative sellouts and festivals, so stay tuned on what they post on their Facebook page!
