Went for a quick lunch and had some of their typical Brazilian pastries like Coxinha made vegan with jackfruit or tomatoes, both are really nice. Good choice of frozen vegan food available.
Several frozen options to eat there or take out, such as: lasagne, feijoada, risotto, cheese bread, sausage. Excellent and friendly service. They also serve beer and sell snacks like coxinha, empada, brownies and nuts.
Vegaria is probably the best vegan option at Boa Viagem neighborhood, they have many options of sweets (seriously good cupcakes) and "salgados": I had a "doguinho" (a sort of baked hot dog with a rice sausage - delicious!) and a jackfruit "coxinha".
Not only do their coxinhas taste amazing, they have a gluten-free option!!! Plus, their empadinha de camarão breaks the boundary for any piscetarian - it tastes and feels just the same as any other shrimp empadinha I'd had before going vegan. As another upside, Vegaria started bringing vegan options to the more "posh" side of Recife, Boa Viagem. They have creative sellouts and festivals, so stay tuned on what they post on their Facebook page!
