Great store! - Edit

It’s amazing how many things you can find in a small store like that. Wish I would live right across the street.

Amazing - Edit

It was so cool going into a grocery store where I could eat everything without checking labels. I wish it was bigger though, but they had a huge selection of cheese, mock meats, and chocolates. Will be coming back!

Love this place! - Edit

I live in Dresden, but visit friends often in Berlin. They must think I'm a bit nuts when I ask to put ice packs in the freezer to transport groceries back to Dresden, but I don't care hehe. After moving from Montreal, I was going through serious Gardein, Fieldroast, and Tofurky withdrawals, but they have a really good selection here. It's so awesome to just go in and not have to check a single label. They also have a few varieties of Kombucha, which is not so easy to find in Germany.

Pros: Amazing choice, Lots of vegan comfort foods

Cons: We need a location in Dresden!

Small but good - Edit

Vegan grocery store on top floor of a big indoor market with many other cafes and small grocery vendors. Small space but huge selection of vegan cheeses, cream cheeses, ice creams, pasta, crackers, and anything else you'd want in a health food store. Very small compared to the Veganz store in Leipzig.

The Goodies cafe next door has baked goods, raw pies, smoothies, etc. Buckwheat and veggies, quinoa bowls, etc. are healthy and yummy takeout. Food is pre-made so you can get what you want and hop back on your train or bus. Smoothies are made to order.

Free wi-fi at Goodies!

Bathrooms are two flights down, in the basement.

Pros: huge selection of vegan cheeses, many gluten-free items, bulk food section

Nice nice - Edit

Just came across the new veganz shop sign and find it inside the markethall (upstairs! stairs from the middle of the markethall ground floor) while wandering around in Kreuzberg. So nice to have more options in the neighborhood. They have many things and also some stuff on sale (close to or past expiration). The goodies cafe right next to it has free wifi and power plugs for charing the phone and looking up online; quite handy if you're a traveler!

Bergmannstr. is nice place to stroll around; lot of cafe/bar/restaurants and many with vegan options. There's also a bakery in the markethall with vegan scones and other bread for not so expensive!

Ok food, nothing special - Edit

I have heard a lot of the Veganz chain and was looking forward to go there. As I opted out of the breakfast in the hotel I was looking for a place for early lunch/late breakfast and went to Veganz in Kreuzberg.

Veganz is on the first floor of a market hall. The goodies section is overlooking the market and offers chilled food in a small open refrigerator and you have several wraps on offer as well as hot food (I think it is seasonal).

I ordered the Mexican bean stew and had Chia Mango Dessert. The Stew was ok, not very spicy. The dessert also nothing out of the ordinary. The food was rather simple but tasty. Veganz goodies is more like a better canteen then a restaurant/cafe.

Overall it is ok for a quick healthy lunch but nothing more.

The shop offers mostly Seitan, Tofu, Soya meat alternatives. Lots of chocolate and cookies and typical German Christmas biscuits, Lebkuchen etc. all vegan of course.

Pros: Cheap

finally! - Edit

kreuzberg definitely needed a shop like this! the closest vegan stores being pogo in neukölln and veganz at warschauer strasse were a little too far away for just a little stroll.
their bulk sections is bigger than their other stores' and the goodies is a little bigger and more comfortable as well. it's perfectly organised and the staff is super nice as well.

Pros: variety, friendly, organised
