No one in the restaurant

We were unlucky, the two times we tried to go to the restaurant, there was no one to serve us.

Demos azar, nas duas vezes que tentamos ir no restaurante, não tinha ninguém pra nos atender.

One dish a day

Very tasty food, in this family-owned business.
There is only one type of dish a day. We had soup, rice, beans and chuchu.

Grassroots vegan

Great tucked away restaurant. Always a changing daily menu. One option only for a three course simple meal.
Home-made feel, delicious.
Cash only. The price is a little questionable as I was charged a certain amount and two girls that walked in after were charged much less.
The owner ran a vegan restaurant in downtown rio for many years. Retired in buzios and now does things the simple way he likes. A true vegan for health, the planet and the animals.

Recommendation

I had a tasty 3 course meal here with fresh juice. I'd recommend this restaurant because it's fully vegan and I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner who's been vegetarian for 40 years and is now a vegan.

I like the explicit emphasis of this place on animals rather than health or the environment (on the entrance it already says 'alimento sem crueldade', food without cruelty)

Ativismo por animais e saúde

Amei a experiência de comer no Vegano Carioca. Comida deliciosa, preço muito razoável pra uma comidinha saudável de verdade. A comida é feita com o maior amor e dá pra sentir no gosto. Além disso, o Sr José e sua esposa Malina são ativistas compromissados com os animais e alimentação saudável de verdade. Recomendo demais!

OMFG. EAT HERE

Simple, delicious variety in a special that changes daily. Killer soup starter with homemade bread. 5 courses on the plate. The Pray for Us greens were off the charts. Relaxed outside seating. Cash only. Cheap. I will be back.

I’m going in this vegan restaurant three times in the week. always a surprise. the simplicity and the food won my heart. so special josé and Maria. i’m feel happy there

Delightful! Healthy and delicious food!!

The place was a bit dull, but the food is another story! Delicious and I have been there many times. In my opinion,
one of the best vegan food in Buzios. Simple, healthy and very tasty.
