Disappointing (again) - Edit

2 years ago, a different veggie place called Bo Tak was located in the same building and I had bad memories related to it. So I had doubts and was slightly apprehensive to come to veganka. I don't know if the owner is new but there's very little progress. The food is fully vegan now, but 2 out of my 5 friends were disappointed with the taste and size of portions. We got the food in very weird order and the staff seemed stressed. My food was fine but I definitely could make better "kluski śląskie"... Moreover, it's quite expensive.

Pros: fully vegan, nice decor

Cons: prices , not so tasty

Warto się wybrać - Edit

Próbowaliśmy tylko ciast i były przepyszne! Dobre miejsce na rodzinny obiad (elegancko, czysto), randkę, spotkanie na luzie. Polecam!

Pros: Pyszne jedzenie, Ładny wystrój, Miła obsługa

Very good food - but a bit to expensive - Edit

I really like the taste and quality of the food made in veganka. The variety is wide and everyone can be
sure to find there something for themselves.
The biggest problem for me, a local, are the prices.
One dish can be up to 30 zł! That's a little bit to expensive
for my taste. That's why I visit this place once a month or even once every second month.
I like the non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
The staff could be a little bit friendlier : )

Pros: Delicious "Pierogi ruskie" and "Schabowy", Nice beverages

Cons: A little bit to expensive :(

Super :) - Edit

A perfect meal to end the perfect trip. Great setting slightly away from the hustle and bustle, plenty of seating, kind staff, Silesian menu, all fresh vegan delights. Also large sizes. Couldn't ask for more! Beautiful, fresh decor. Staff seem to really give a damn about animal rights!

Pros: Great portions and flavours, Silesian classics , Service that cares!

Cons: n/a

No. 1 at the Silesia map for vegans - Edit

The best food you can have in Katowice. Only vegan options. Only good quality meals, connected to history and cuisine of this region. I eat there regularly and I could recommend everything - from very nice broth (power soup) to traditional main dishes as roulade, meat balls or cabbage rolls. I totally recommend it.

Pros: Big range of different traditional veganized meals, Big range of different beverages (Pukka tea, Jogi , Nice staff who helps you decide what to order depe

Warm, inviting, and delicious food! - Edit

A really warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I had the vegetable pancake with kimchi and it was delicious. Something like the Korean kimchijeon or the Japanese okonomiyaki I used to have back in Korea and the US, but with a slightly Polish flavor. My friend had the peasant salad with tempeh, and it was even tastier.

I definitely plan on going back and trying their versions of traditional Polish cuisines like the Silesian roulade and the pierogi!

Traditional Polish food made vegan - Edit

Great New addition on the vegan map of Silesia region. If you're visiting Katowice make sure to check it out. It's a traditional Polish food made vegan and refined. Cheesecake was to die for!
